Had to go back three times to make an appointment- and then wait 15 min past it to open account which also drags. Please put it all online-need to go back again to make a joint account-timewasters-massive queues all day-bank needs bigger space-dont tell me they cant afford it-NO! put it ALL online-do something!!

Poor customer service. 2 week waiting time to see an advisor if you want to make an appointment. But witnessed the only one Advisor working busy talking to her customer about her personal life while there is a que of people that are waiting to be seen.

I made an appointment, to find out the consultant had called in sick and i wasn't made aware. I waited at least 2 weeks to see someone in regards to fraud and all i can say for ponders end staff is that your absolutely useless. No customer service skills, and my issue was not resolved. Im fuming. Now Im going to take my issue to the Financial Conduct Authority. Hire better Staff!! Literally just a waste of time!!

The Barclays branch is open to the public and the people that work there are supposed to deliver a certain level of customer service. However, I was appalled by the level customer service I recieved when walking into this branch.
I was enquiring about opening an account with them, I was asked 'do you have an appointment and do you bank with us', I said 'no', and then was told 'can't you just ask the bank you are currently with to open this particular account'. Would I be standing at this branch if that was the case? Kmt. They took my number and said they would call me that same day to book an appointment as their was a problem with their booking system, but I was never called and I know they never had the intention to do so.
I was not greeted with a smile, no one said hi, no one was friendly and they spoke to me as if me being there was an inconvenience, like the branch was even busy, it was laughable.

not only that the bank is closed on Saturday its also the two atm's are out of order.

Can take one hour plus for an appointment. No ticketing system?. But good customer service
