I can’t speak for every member of staff but the woman who was serving me had terrible customer service. Elderly brown skinned lady with short hair. Running around talking to other people whilst she’s meant to be serving me, asks me a question and when I answer she ignores me and turns around and chats to someone else and once she’s dealt with my documentation she just walked off to someone else, I had to physically walk after her to ask if we were finished and what will happen next. Not happy with the customer service here, I hope the other members of staff are not like that as well otherwise I won’t be with Halifax for very long

Clean, tidy, organised branch with lovely staff that welcome you with a smile. You're greeted by a lovely gentleman as you enter and I was directed to Mr Karan who was so helpful. He provided excellent customer service to me and recommended an appt which is long overdue for my accounts to be checked. I give praise where its due and I really appreciate the service i received here.

As a foreign national who recently moved to London, I had several problems with banking and bureaucracy. But this branch was very different and extremely keen in helping me. I can't express my gratitude.

I have been to this branch 3 times. Every time a different member of staff helped me. The last time the branch manager personally devoted her time. They even arranged a phone call to sort out my needs. I now have a current and a savings accounts and thanks to their hard work, keen interest and positive manner I am considering to open my business account with Halifax. Great people working there. Many thanks!

Hello Halifax team,

Unfortunately, my mother has no one living with her, and she currently has to look after herself. Wood Green is a diverse community and most of 30% of the community struggle with the language barrier, as does my mother.

When my mother first went to Halifax, a lady was able to help her out tremendously. Explaining to her step by step how to set up her mobile banking. She has had this set up for years which, over time, she has forgotten...
I brought my mother a new phone and hence why she lost all her data. I live in Scotland, so the only way to complete this was for her to go back to Halifax in Wood Green for the team to help her again.
Not long after, my mother called me absolutely offended by the way Halifax employee Krishna dealt with her. I asked my mother to hand the phone over to her; however, Krishna persisted that she could not help my mother because she didn't speak English. Someone send her to an all-white people branch where they speak only in English, please, because Krishna, the director of Halifax, can't simply sit there and define username to an old lady who doesn't speak English. My mother can't do the simple things about holding her phone for too long either; what shall I do about that Krishna cop off her arms because they are useless?
If your employees are there to help, they should be doing so no matter the language barrier. My mother lives 10 minutes away from Halifax Wood Green. Krishna's advice was, 'Go to Edmonton Halifax there is a Turkish lady'.

Really Krishna?

Not to mention this whole conversation was unexpectedly with a rude demeanour...

I don't appreciate anything from Krishna and really advise your team to give her extensive training on customer support and telephone manners, please.

Kind regards,
Hazel

Poor management .
3 member of the staff on the door telling costumers to put mask on in very unfriendly manner . The queue to the till was very long so they have to keep people outside. Do you really need 1 security and 2 member of the bank staff on the door ? The mask in not compulsory but voluntarily from 19th July. Instead of keeping all this people in the queue , put an extra person to the till, Make you bank service better and faster.
Probably I should have talk to manager. ..
I would avoid this brunch.
