Lloyds Bank

I took my Mother to Lloyd's Bank Kilburn Branch to transfer some funds. Stanka Bujdova served her. What a star. So kind, patient, explaining the process and making the necessary checks. Unusual to get such service, we even recommended her for a rise to her Manager who was really nice as well. Happy us!

Excellent customer service. I needed to activate some old accounts. Even though it was lunchtime and the branch was busy, I never felt rushed; Ms. Stanka and her colleague worked with me to resolve my issues. They explained the processes and talked me through my options. This level of friendly, professional service reminds me why I choose to bank with Lloyds.

I went to this Kilburn branch with some issue in uploading some documents online for opening a bank account.

Lloyd's is a bank that is, unfortunately, still stuck in the 1990's. The quality of the retail banking services offered here is far below Western European standards, and possibly even worse than that of many banks in eastern Europe. The application platform, for instance, which is used to open an account is rigged with bugs (you can't even input an address properly after which you'll be forced to set up an appointment in a few weeks or even a month's time) and the interface itself is at least 15 years old. This branch in particular, aside from looking like a slump is full of incompetent and disinterested representatives that will do the bare minimum to help you. Avoid at all costs. Filthy place.
