It's a provincial branch of a multinational bank.

Look up what a branch of a bank is like, find out the services it has and you will get a fair idea of what it's like. I prefer to spend as little time as possible there, so I check on my way passed how busy it is.

Staff seam relatively knowledgeable and competant (emphasis on relatively). I've been to a lot worse, but much better (generally in other countries and differant companies). All Santander banks I've been in are generic, I guess for familiarity and identification.

It's somewhere you sometimes have to go, out of necessity.

Very professional, helpful and friendly staff. I have been with this branch for years and never had any issues. Great work guys, thank you very much....

Very happy with the service I received over the phone by a staff member named Maria. She was attentive and did her best to sort the situation as much as she could without making us feel as though we were a burden. I am sure that she is like this with all her customers. A very nice helpful and friendly staff member. Despite the situation she made us feel at ease in ensuring that she is doing her best to get it resolved which in itself was a great help. She was professional in the way she handled everything and asked her advisors for help when necessary which meant we were getting the correct information. Very good customer service!!

Very disappointed with the service received at Santander Blackburn. We have been going round in circles with staff. What the staff say in store does not match what staff are saying over the phone. Shocked at the way the situation has been handled. Just trying to open an account is taking upto 5+ weeks to sort. No body is willing to help. They are claiming they no longer do face to face appointments where they open up an account for us but are more than happy to sit us down face to face to give us the wrong information about the situation which has put us back weeks. The staff at the blackburn store are unwelcoming and refuse to sort out a matter that has been ongoing for weeks. As a result of this no other bank is able to open an account for us. Santander staff need to be made more aware of how their store runs and their policies as wrong information is frequently given out to customers.

Went to draw out some money and I forgot to ask for £50 denominations, I then ask the cashier next door (Asian) to ask the cashier that I was dealing with (Caucasian) to see if she could get me the £50 denominations, she was initially ignoring me and then eventually looked at me and said she will ask , she took her precious time then went to her colleague and said '' he wants £50 pounds or something like that'' I thought her rude , she then slide to the side and whispered to her colleague maybe something around the line ''not to give him'' , absolutely poor service , in the first place I wasn't asked what denominations I needed it in , I wasn't even told how much was in each bag of money ,I wasn't asked if I would like it to be counted in front of me , I had to ask if the machine counted it , all round poor service and considering I have been banking with this bank for a very long time I expected better, wouldn't be going there again to be honest.
