I had to go into the branch purely to arrange a joint account as for some unbeknownst reason you can't do it online?! Only switching because of the current offer. The lady whom was at the desk was quite antisocial. She was unfriendly and said this could only be done with an appointment as it would take an hour. It took me 5 minutes if that to apply for my account online. I explained I had called the customer service number whom said I could pop into any branch at my convenience. I asked to speak with a manager. Michael is a very friendly and helpful manager. I suggest you ask for him if you're not satisfied with anything but really he's just as bad. I recommend going to Holborn where you'll receive excellent service with a smile.

The staff in the branch printed out but i require this to be stamped
they then said they cant print due to their policies.
But then I asked them to see their policy then said they cant show me the policy, this is a joke and I want to complain about 2 of the staff in the baker street branch.
Guy and Marian who work there, guy said he was the manager and said he wont stamp the statement that he printed and said it cannot be done
then also told me to go to another branch

Travelled into town especially to put a check in before they STILL don’t do it on the app.

Got there 10 mins before closing only for them to say that the counters actually closes at 4PM!! Just warn anyone!!! So unsympathetic and unhelpful. They should have this as info on google maps to not waste anyone else’s time.

Honestly one of the worst customer service experiences ever. First guy was nice but the guy who helped us was extremely rude and we were there for nearly two hours. Online was more helpful than this branch.

Awful bank that gets their friends to leave good reviews on Google maps. How hard is it to fire useless staff and hire people with half a brain. Surely they're getting underpaid because a lot of the tsb branches have had potatoes behind the counters in my experience .

Useless staff... The same two males at the guichet with no costumer service whatsoever!! And they are very rude.
First they never great you, no eye contact when you come in. Once I went there to have more information about a service they offer, and the person I was talking to didn't answer my questions, wasn't clear.
Once I went there to change my home address, I wrote it down on a paper for them to copy it and even though at the guichet the employee got it wrong.
I went back there to let them know they did a mistake but guess what they did it again. So I went to a different branch to have it resolved.
Today was the worst, I have been served by one of the two male employees at the guichet and again no greeting. Anyway I had some 50notes pound that I wanted to change, I told him that. He said to me that I needed to first bank them in before getting them back.
I did all that was requested but at the end I have been given 20 pounds notes¡! I told him I wanted to change my 50s notes, he said to me that they did not have 50 pounds notes. So couldn't he tell me that before? Why aren't they listening to their customers? Unprofessional.

The support system is very unsatisfactory. I needed to update my address and after being 25 mins on the line and talking to 2 operators. I could not update it, She has the nerve to suggest "send a letter to us" to request the update. 21 st century and in the middle of a pandemic, bank practices after they asked me 5 different ways to prove I am the owner of that account. Definitely not recommending this bank to anyone.

Dipen Patel is the kind man who helped me today, he was very helpful and so open minded. I never had such a good experience with this branch before usually the staff there are very impolite. But he’s always smiling and greeting everyone not just me. I hope we see more staff like him in this branch
