I am convinced Metro Bank fraud prevention team are the worst. Completely useless and dangerous.

I had used this bank for about 9 years. One day, I transferred my savings to a joint account. Couple days later Metro Bank quietly blocked all my money. I could not buy food or pay bills. They demanded an invoice for the transaction (transfer from a savings account in my name to a joint account in my name), despite bank history clearly showing past transactions to that savings account from Metro Bank. It took Metro Bank 28 days to check their own transaction history and confirm a transaction I made from my savings account was not fraud. They offered no apology or explanation for leaving me literally without any money for a month because I dared to ... use my bank account as intended, by transferring to and from my own savings account.

Went in cashier didn’t careless asked for different notes and coins was told didn’t have it end off sorry is this a bank or a tukshop I wouldn’t even give them 1 star

Went their for replacement card but they were rude and told us machine not working even though it was probably working. bad customer service

I have a business account with Metro , I came on Monday, their staff said with for 2 hours. But she called after 4 hours and said that sorry come another day . I waited my 4 hours in the waiting in sitting areas but end of the day s

Due to his business schedule. Very bad miss management. They said come morning time....

Again next day I come in the morning time the person named Mr Ali said the same story . Even he doesn't know how to resolve the issue. He said he is a manager but he does not know when his staff turned up . He does not have any knowledge how to deals . Then I ask to Mr Gurdev he is also very very rood .
The whole sinerio. They need to give them proper training and teach them time management I am very very disappointed

Horrible place staff when opening account promises and assure quoted service are available. After opening account attitude change to no nothing possible and everything is struggle

Terrible service. They said they are busy and took my no down to call me but nothing. I came back and there were at least 6 staff sitting and talking but no one to help. Sitting here waiting for help.

I'm not sure if metro are losing that personal touch that made them stand out from the rest of the High St banks but I left the Bexleyheath branch today taking my buisness to Starling online and am very very tempted to move my Business account to online banking also.
Customer Service was shocking and if I've got to do all my banking issues online then don't see why I'm paying for the privilege of having a buisness account with Metro .
Shame. I was so proud to call Metro my bank, friendly staff, customer service was unbelievably good and now - nothing. They don't even have water and biscuits out for the dogs anymore. Not a necessity but nice touch all the same.
Really disappointed with being in branch today.
