Was in UK for 3 weeks where I ordered a new debit card, which you have to go into the branch for. PIN number was ordered 2 weeks later when the card was delivered to me and activated. on June 15th I was promised to get the PIN number within 3 days so that I could change the PIN before leaving back to Singapore (as you can only change it via ATM whilst physically in UK, and not via online banking which is ludicrous). Despite numerous apologies and renewed promises I still haven't received the PIN code for the card 11 days later.

How can it take Crawley branch 11 days and counting to ship a PIN code through the post to a Crawely address - despite being flagged as urgent.

I'm totally unimpressed with such shoddy service and attention to my specific needs.

Disgraceful customer service from ‘Steve’. New policy of one person in the queue at the till at the time because of social distancing and privacy! Can’t see it being social distancing if they are gathering everyone at the bottom of the ramp. I explained that NatWest no longer treats the customer in a person facing role which I believe banking should be. ‘Steve’ was very defensive and not understanding what I was trying to say or rather really didn’t care. When my transaction was done he turned away and I heard him say that I could always go across the road. I asked him to repeat what he said and he said I could always go to Lloyds!! I have never been so taken aback by someone who is being paid by his customers with absolutely no regards for them. Disgraceful. I hope his Senior management see this and they too realise that when you go to a bank you do require a level of customer service and not everyone wants to deal with a machine. Very disappointed. Customer of 40 years

Doesn’t need too many words - the previous 1 stars say it all. Dismal customer service, woeful rude staff, and a shop that is more like a basement warehouse. Should close it down and sack the staff.

Disgusting customer service. Wanted to withdraw a sum of money, got bombarded with questions as to what the money was for and that they wanted to see invoices/quotes for items being purchased. Not too sure how I can provide this until I have actually purchased the item! I came prepared with my ID but they still wouldn't allow me to withdraw the money. They said they were only trying to protect my interests but why bombarded me with questions as to what the money is for (which is none of your bloody business) what is it to you what I want to spend my money on! you can protect my interests by confirming my Id and going through security. I will be looking into closing all my accounts with NatWest and transfering my money to a bank that will allow me access to my money

Place is a joke.

The left hand has no idea what the right is doing, they have a queue of 20 people outside and only one person on the desk?...plenty of space inside but they would rather their customers queue for an hour to make a bank transfer than to put one more person at the desk.

Terrible service
Poor management
extremely inconvenient
