Halifax

I'm very disappointed. Mr Rajh was very rude and incompetent. I asked him twice to explain me difference between 6( there are different )credit card, but he said ,,you can read and choose which one you like "
How can I know which one is better for me ? He is working here to help and explain all understandable questions. Very impolite and rude.

My partner and I went to Halifax EastHam branch, we were booked with a lady called Sadia. We met with Sadia and i initially got very off vibes with her not to mention a dirty up and down look full of attitude. The funny thing is i said to me partner "Watch she is gonna mess this up" and that is exactly what happened!! You know when your 6th sense tells you!!! Well that happened!

We had this appointment for our mortgage. We presented Sadia with our payslips, now i appreciate our payslips are different to the normal ones due to the jobs we do, anyway we presented other paperwork as necessary. Sadia miscalculated our payslips 3 times, which was not the issue we were patient with this but she could not grasp our payslips and had the audacity to tell me she has done these types of payslips 100 times before, clearly inexperienced but what got on my nerves was just put your hands up when you made a mistake its fine, don't start lying to me! There were many things that we had to do, like get a letter from work, even when i told her our employers wont do that, its not a normal job, there are procedures, we asked if there's any other way, everything was so negative with her there were no solutions and we felt like we hit a brick wall.
It got to the point where i lost all trust in her and she was getting on my absolute nerves, messing everything up and going in and out of the branch.

I managed to get hold of Chris who is the manager, he had all the solutions to these issues, and we managed to get Mafusa who went through everything down to a T and helped us along the way. We then managed to get the mortgage.

I do not recommend Sadia at all it was the worst experience ever.

The customers service is excellent I would recommend this branch to anyone without hesitation who wish to simply do some banking and use their other services.The staffs here are very friendly, helpful and most of all extremely supportive.

Absolutely appalling customer service. It was horrendous actually! I was queuing for ages, only to have an issue with my account. I was sent to another queue and they served 2 customers before me even though I was next in line. They didn't even ask me if this was ok. It was out of order and really unprofessional.

Rip off bank, with rude staff and super high mortgage interest rates! Do not get your mortgage here. Better off saving your money and buying a narrowboat

I had a one of a kind experience - it felt exceptional! I went into the bank to discuss upgrading my account and applying for a mortgage in near future. Waleed was helping another customer and after he was done; he saw me standing in the lobby from his office.. He came out and asked if I needed help. He went above and beyond in answering my questions and taking care of my needs. Waleed is a huge credit to Halifax!

I just come back from this branch and I still can't believe I was robbed by the staff member who was just deposited my money into my children's account saying that I didn't have the money I told him without even letting me count the money again. He quickly put them in his drawer.Just so furious the way he treated me.
I'll never go to that branch ever again

Awesome branch. The staffs opened my account in few minutes while HSBC wasted my time; I came to Halifax, and the staffs are friendly, and they did everything smoothly.
