Lloyds Bank

Great job on the new open plan layout Lloyds Bank. Now there are only two staffed service counters so it takes even longer to pay money (cash bags) into my account.

There's poor customer service and then there's staff and a manager repeatedly sending a recently bereaved 82 year old on multiple wild goose chase trips over 5 days to this and another branch in an attempt to set up an executor's account (partly played out in front of the visiting regional manager!) to be finally told 'processes had changed' and to 'come back on another day'. Catastrophic rank incompetence and total lack of insight and empathy.

New layout is good - but we definitely don't want piped music in a bank!

Doing financial transactions is difficult enough without distracting, grating music going on.

And why not classical music?

Dump the music!

My friend come here to open a bank account but their staff just make it difficult. He said the H (THI) word in her ID is capital but in the bills that she showed is normal h (Thi), are they dumb that every single word in ID have to be CAPITAL? And you know what they even say goodluck to her when she leave but not the word sorry.

Thomas was a fantastic help for us today. He was very knowledgeable and efficient with a friendly manner.

Not bad, wanted to pay a cheque in life's to short.

This branch is nearly completely automated...I wasn't too sure about paying in cash and a cheque into the ATM..I had no need to worry as the friendly lady on "patrol" was there to help out...turns out to be a really easy process!

Fantastic staff but great staff are useless if the place is not open at times when people need them. 10 til 3 and closed on Saturday is useless when people work full time.
