It would be very helpful if Barclays posted a warning on their Reigate branch opening times web page that the counters shut at 3pm. I made a specific trip to this branch to pay in a quantity of bagged coins, and on arrival at 3.20pm was told to "come back tomorrow at 9.30am"
I've been a Barclay's customer for over 50 years with both business and personal accounts, but clearly they are no longer interested in retaining loyal clients.

Had a large fraud with Barclays. I've now been in TWICE to the branch with 2 forms of ID to unlock my account. The first in November, then in December. Both times I was told that my account was unlocked.
It's now March and I called customer service yesterday. I was told I still need to go into branch with 2 forms of ID. Both times, the person in the branch hadn't managed to log this. What a waste of my time.

On the rare occasions they open, you'll queue for ages if you need to deal with a teller
They only ever open one window for teller service
They shut the teller service completely when the security van arrives, no matter how many people are waiting in the never ending queue

Why are the opening hours so restricted at Barclays Reigate when other essential services are continuing to serve their customers in normal business hours?

Ridiculous ... no one answers the phone , customer service non existent. Website said open , paid for parking and walked all the way up the highstreet in the rain only to find the branch was shut down 5 months ago yet the Website states open, old woman standing outside in the rain saying she did the same ... disgusting... Will take my business elsewhere

Top professional service by Ashley. Been on the phone to Barclays for hours previous to be help by Ashley without any success in sorting out the problem, have to say the dedication and attitude was second to none offered by him, oh he sorted out the problem as well.

Poor customer service, rude staff and the branch are not open for over the counter transactions on the weekend. I am told that this is because of COVID-19 however Mon-Fri are apparently when the usual services resume.

As a customer you will only ever know this when you read this review or go to the branch and learn the hard way.

Barclays are failing miserably.

I went into the branch in person to order a new card A very nice girl went through 100 different security questions and said" Perfect, all done. You will receive your card in 5-7 working days. Well that was 3 weeks ago!
On a separate note, Barclays online stockbrokers take so many days to adjust stock changes and transfers, THAT cost me a lot of money too. Really I do not like Barclays. Totally useless and I will be closing my account !
