Made me wait 15 minutes just to tell me I need to book an appointment. I was able to do the same process at Nationwide and it took 5 minutes. They don't value their customers, so I don't value them. I'm emptying my account with them and won't bother to continue spending on their credit cards. Disappointed as per usual by HSBC.

Oh but first I'm gonna spend the cashback rewards I got from the credit card, wouldn't want that to go to waste.

The branch staff happen to never have any appointments. Even on the odd day when you walk in - there are advisors who are sitting around doing nothing but no one can be bothered to open an account or provide any services. It always goes down to you have to have an appointment. The cashiers however have always been ever so friendly, and they never seem to cause any issues. Really need to get your personal bankers back on track HSBC!

Walked in with my family because I had loose change. I when to the desk to fill a paying in slip not mention to much on what happened but the staff didn't make us feel welcome at all. They told us to re-queue after waiting half hour because the way I pay into my account in my local branch, they didn't accept yet they do in my local branch??? Pathetic staff need to grow up and stop being petty. At least they have a descent job unlike most in this country! I'm just glad this isn't my local branch.

Went here on the weekend to pay in a cheque, the guy behind the counter told me I had to use the machine to pay in..... apparently now everything has to be done by machine... so not to sure why he was there!
Asked him how to do this and he said it’s simple... nothing more..... a lady came out in the end and helped me.
Considering the guy was doing nothing not sure why he couldn’t help!!
He will be the one moaning when they say they don’t need him anymore because the machines do it all.
What’s wrong with a bit of customer service!

The staff is doing their best,never had any bad experience.But it’s the policy of doing everything on line that drives me mad.The whole process is way too dependent on technology and that doesn’t make it easier.Not for my generation anyway.

terrible service. Waited over 1 1/2 hour for assistance. No assistance received and now want to close account but still cannot get help!. Not happy

Online part has a bug. You can get support only on mobile part - not on desktop. I received support 6h after I asked for it and obviously wasn't around! So now I am in queue again.
In parallel, trying telephone banking - currently in the queue for 45mins!
Considering visiting branch but apparently full services branches are not exactly available! Instead they have digital ones that are basically providing you a computer and somebody advises you how to use it.
I can't understand how can this be legal?
