Shocking Barclays counter closes on a Saturday. And for weekdays closes at 2pm, when most branches open far more later than this. I do believe the branch it self needs to sort out by expanding the times more further, especially for a Saturday mostly! Very bizarre.

Why do you only open while people are at work. It's no use closing when customers are wanting to use the bank. If you are not going to review opening times, put machines back in asda.

Had an appointment with the bank to discuss saving options. The staff were great really friendly and informative. Excellent service. Would definitely recommend.

Rude staff. No consideration for personal circumstances. Customer service skills zero from 1 of the ladies on the desk

Awful service from the counters. Even when politely asking for help just rude and push you away to do it on your own

Faulty deposit machine. I went in to pay in my money, takings in cash. I inserted the card, followed all steps, and finally inserted cash. The machine counted the cash and then showed the mssage "was unable to process some of the cash. Please re-insert" or something along these lines. However, there wasn't cash to re-insert because the cash flap was firmly shut with my money in it. The next thing I knew, the machine spat my card back at me and showed the message that its ready for the next customer: no cash and no slip to prove that it had my cash. I checked my account balance- no cash has been deposited. I went straight to the customer assistant, who was completely uninterested. She sent me to join a long line of other people waiting to deposit money via a human cashier. When my turn came, the cashier said they could not help me instantly as they could not open the machine to retrieve my money. She said that the machine would be opened tomorrow morning and if (IF!!!) my money is there, it will be deposited into my business account. I am worried sick now that my hard-earned money has been lost. What if the machine will randomly give it to the next customer? I cannot believe how unprofessional and horrible the whole situation is. I cannot believe I was left in this situation without an immediate solution. This is soul-destroying, and I have now got a dreadful migraine because of the worry and stress caused by this. I will have to cancel clients today, which will cost me a lot of lost revenue.

Terrible, I had a business banking telephone appointment with Barclays today on the 5th January at 12 noon to open a new business account. It was booked in the calendar and confirmed by e-mail and they never bothered to call me. I have waited 2 weeks for this appointment. They obviously do not want new business customers. How unprofessional. Will have to go elsewhere like Tide or Starling bank.
Prior to this I went in to St Annes branch to ask what the best way was to open an account, they directed me to the website which directed me to call them. I have been passed around and my time wasted. I called them and booked the telephone appointment which never happened. While in the St Annes branch the woman standing in the foyer said she was busy and all she was doing was standing there doing nothing. Totally unhelpful. We actually have a charity account with Barclays but after this we are moving our custom elsewhere very soon.

Says the branch closes at 4pm, nowhere on the website does it state the desks close at 2pm so you can’t actually pay money in or withdraw, some people don’t like to use cash machines with street robberies etc, you need to clarify more clearly what hours your services are open! Could mean that a disabled/elderly person comes out for a journey where they can’t do what they need to do! Think about your customers needs.
