The newly revamped Hatfield branch needs to look long and hard the non-operational ATM's - Windows error messages is not acceptable. And, placing a surly, non-responsive member of staff to supposedly help just rubs salt in the wounds. Wake up Barclays Hatfield!!!

Wanted to open a new bank account, as I recently relocated to UK. I already have a very good job, but they asked for a UK driving license in order to open a new account: that was mandatory, and without that it is impossible to create a new account. Unbelievable!

Long queues only one window open, one guy standing around trying to coerce people into using machines nobody wants to use which people are forced to use because of the long queues, I wanted the insurance of a face to face transaction, this is no way to treat your customers, no excuses.

worst branch I’ve even been to, customer service is appalling. I will now have to travel further out to do simple banking as this branch cannot serve its customers well. very poor.

Went in to sort out the finances (obvs), only greeted by 5* customer service that i would expect in 3* michelin restaurant. and just a special hats off to the young man Jack. this is the first ever review in response to good customer service i have ever left.

It will be 5 stars when access to pay-in machine becomes available out of opening hours. I have to use my lunch break to pay in if I need to.

Considering the current climate I am so grateful this bank is open and working to the best of its abilities. I've found staff to be friendly and helpful though no doubt under huge pressure and more then a little scared seeing so many people. So thank you for being open and doing your best.
