Barclays Bank

ABSOLUTELY USELESS! no customer service, no response and no urgency! Mortgage Adviser doesn't return calls and bank staff are the most unhelpful people ever. for such a big bank you'd think customer service and new business opportunities would be a priority. When you call the number on google it goes through to a call centre with non-english speaking staff that refuse to give the Branch Managers email address or contact number!

I took my 91 Yr old Father to his local Barclays branch as he was having problems making an online transaction. The lady who served us was very kind, helpful and understanding, my father has poor sight and hearing and had become very confused and anxious before calling me to take him to the branch. He recieved excellent patient service and everything explained clearly and transactions completed 😀 thanks so much

Terrible staff. Incredibly rude and unhelpful. I was told by one of the female cashiers that they don’t usually take change to bank as I would need to arrange a third party collection. Natwest across the road are much better!

Always long waiting, at least one machine for deposit cash and cheque would help to minimalise the quoeue

Very poor.

Currently waiting in a queue and the cashier is more concerned with having a good conversation about non related bank enquiries from a friend at the desk.... waiting to be served in a 8 person queue!

I understand branch are closed elsewhere however its so frustrating to see conversations about non banking stuff!!!!!!!

I do not know what sort of people are writing bad reviews. The staff here are lovely and yes sometimes the queue is a bit long but that is not their fault. I think that some of you need to get a life and stop moaning. So what if a member of staff wants to have a chat with a customer is it really going to ruin your day? I bet that you would be complaining if they were like robots to people. I suggest that you are thankful if there is s queue as this may be the only thing keeping this bank open as many have closed in Caterham. So put up or shut up and use it or lose it. Your choice!

Extremely ridiculous customer service. Staff talking behind the counter but do not want to open the counter. Waited for hours before being served just to deposit money. Extremely extremely poooooooor service.

They make the opening hours up as they see fit each day. Often close the branch at 2pm even though there are 3 or 4 members of staff in there. I've got there and it's been closed more often than it's been open. Hopeless.
