Friendly and Helpful Staff, whilst I don't use them anymore they are still a very good branch with amazing staff.

Very disappointed. I tried to open an account, but was told I would have to make an appointment and come back another day. I would have understood if they were busy, but i was the only customer in the branch and there was at least 4/5 staff sitting around not doing anything. I went to a building society instead and they did it there and then in 15 mins. Always giving you extra??? Yeah right.

Since I came to UK I tried to open bank account and really became upset with other banks so complicated process and not helping at all they will ask for different documents.Today I went to this branch without appointment and despite it was busy the staff (unfortunately couldn’t remember his name ) was so kind . He direct me and helping me till I opened the account 😊🙏🏻many thanks to him

I am wait from and still no got my card as my other got swallowed up monday morning i called them up right away and said i need new one straight away as i got no money they said goin nto branch get some over the desk yes it ok but when you start work a7am and no get home to 5 can no get into bank now gone 2 days no food thanks to the halifax

Halifax opening times are not as stated on the website, could these be updated weekly if there is a shortage of staff?

Absolutely shocking opening hours - closed by 3pm most days. I rarely have to use the branch but surely it’s not too much to ask to be open until 5pm? What a waste of a trip into town! And before some helpful representative comes along and suggests that I use the app or online banking (which I do for most things) you can’t pay in cash/coins without being in branch.

Not been here for years as normally use online banking. Popped into the branch today to pay some money in to my surprise the branch was closed after saying on the website open 9-3 but on the main door closed Thursdays. very poor this hasn’t been updated on the website no wonder so many negative reviews.

Apart from the initial account opening, the Stafford branch staff seem keen to find a problem with almost anything you want to do. Several times I’ve been left in the lurch, unable to access my own money. I spoke with the Halifax helpline after Stafford were last unhelpful and they suggested a solution (which Stafford could have suggested). I visited Hanley branch of Halifax to implement it and they couldn’t have been more helpful, even though it’s not my branch and I’ve never been there before or since. The problem is the unhelpful mindset at Stafford. Too many staff with little to do. Hanley far busier and extremely helpful. My score is purely for Stafford branch.
