Fantastic experience opening a business account with Ezra Martin at Metro Bank Oxford today after a very bad experience with Barclays. Not many banks that you can set up and open a business account in just over 2 hours on a Saturday with cards printed in store. Ezra couldn't do enough to help and was very professional balanced with a friendly approach. Joe McGowan the store manager was also a pleasure to deal with. Thank you guys. Great bank. Great service. Highly recommended.

Today I joined the bank around 2:10 pm, accompanied by my boyfriend who speaks English fluently, I thought it would be better to have your companion because I have difficulties with the language. to my surprise, they didn't want to open the account stating that they only open for english speakers! I could try to do everything myself, but it would be much more difficult than with my boyfriend together. I left so angry and so disappointed with the poor service that I will not return and not reccomend this bank to anyone! they make fun of you there!

Best experience I have ever had in a bank! Respectful and knowledgeable staff! Khizer sorted me out in an hour and I walked out with an account in my hands! Great stuff thanks again!

Nobody look after the customer they just chilling and talking with each others they are 6 peoples and they dont see just 1 customer they say u have to wait....

Very good customer service. I was setting up a new account in this branch. I had to wait for around 20 minutes during which members of staff approached me and apologied for the waiting time. I was sitted in a comfortable chair so I could work during the wait. I was then invited by an employee to their table and we started the process. I was advised about all the account details, all my questions (many) were answered and we also had a very friendly conversation. I was also offered a coffee which was good. I left the bank with a new bank account and a card in my hand.

Hello everyone,many people saying good and bad things after they opinion!
We don’t have to forget everywhere exist rules and this people following them.
I have many accounts in many banks but honestly here you have safety for your money and once you became a costumer this people really look after you!!!

My husband initially met the manger for the Oxford branch to open an account who was very helpful at the start. Being a new resident but with the legal right to live and work in the UK, my husband didn't have a council bill as a proof of residence. Just a letter from my daughter stating that we were staying with her until a rental agreement was signed. I am a British passport holder. This manager simply ignored all follow up emails and phone calls after emailing my husband asking for a day/time to discuss the options. We'll take our rather sizeable investment elsewhere. A VERY poor attitude without the courtesy of a reply.

It really depends who you have! Our guy was called Ezra - he helped us open a new bank account with ease and good humour.
