I would like to make a complaint with regards to the lady receptionist who was on duty at 10.30- 11.30am today the 18th February.
Could you please ask her to be less condescending to customers who are not familiar with all the changes that have happened inside the high street banks in the last year.
I am a customer and have been for over 20 years of your subsidiary branch of first direct and have never been treated or spoken to by them, as though I was an embicile, as I was this morning in your branch.
I was treated respectfully by your teller who handled my business well and he proceeded to let me know what the next step was by asking the receptionist for the "red phone". I was asked by her what am I talking about, so I repeated the request, to be told we don't have red phones. Bewildered, I explained what I wanted to do and was told I could transfer the cash via a machine inside the bank. Proceeded to do so but couldn't as there was no option on the screen. Better use the phone then, was the next response but when I did it was not working and her attitude was sorry and she walked away. Didn't offer the use of another phone, but I must admit by this time I was absolutely fed up of being spoken to as though I had lost my senses, I decided to come home and transfer from here. Please advise this lady that although customers may look older than her they have not all lost their marbles.
Thankyou
Mrs G.B.Etches.
WAU Hello
WAU Hello
We met this lovely lady ( LJ Rush*** ) who works at this branch, she was fantastic, got all the problems sorted for us within minutes. Highly recommend her and her colleagues.

Close earlier than their early closing.
They should close at 5pm earliest, but they advertise as closing at 2pm. However by 1:45pm they had scarpered and had locked up and were nowhere to be seen. Obviously don’t care about helping their Customers.

Had the worst experiences over phone and on app trying to log in, multiple times. Went into this store expecting it to go badly after reading the single star reviews but I maybe got lucky and the most warm and professional member of staff took my query on. He sorted it out in no time making it look easy. Was unexpected. Top notch service
Thank you and best of luck to the team with the move to the branch in town.

Went to the branch at 1:40pm on a working day and asked for their help with a big transfer as it was over my daily limit, but I was told they couldn't do that because they were closing soon (yes, they would close at 2pm on a working day! ) and I could do it via telephone banking. However, after I called the number they gave me, I was only informed that to make a large transfer I would have to go to the branch and telephone banking couldn't do that at all.... well, so I had to visit the branch the next day again...

Visited this branch last week with my elderly mother and was treated appallingly. Having queued up for several minutes for a cashier. A worker asked if he could help. He resolved one issue but was very dismissive. Cash machine inside bank wasn't working so had to rejoin queue. No card machine at cashier so had to complete paying in slip. Unbelievable!!

Been with HSBC for many many years (since Midland Bank days) but it seems they don't like customers anymore. Had to go to branch as online not working and a quick Google shows this is a widespread problem. This branch is massively understaffed, long queues, trying to sort something only to be told they don't have a policy for that so my account may get stopped anyway for something simple that I came to pre-inform them would be happening. Bye Bye HSBC I will be moving personal and business accounts to a bank with humans as I am fed up with the complete lack of customer focus. Shame used to be very good.

Arrived Thursday 9th December at 2.15 to pay in a substantial amount of cash. Bank shut. Notice on door saying closing at 2pm this week. How was I to know? This is not shown on the internet! Could not find out about facilities for paying cash in before making the journey to try again on the 10th.
