Barclays Bank

Hope you're not in a rush.

With its city centre location you'd be forgiven to think that this place would be operating efficient, quick turnarounds and all cylinders firing.........more a visit to the dentist to have your tooth out.

The teams of guys walking round in suits makes you think that you're in some perversion of the Wolf of wallstreet.......I'm sitting here hoping for a helicopter to come crashing down to wipe out the, out of key busker and his guitar. Unfortunately there's more life in the walking dead and I'm stuck with these.

Replacement card service, more replacement hip.

Very Friendly and professional staff.

The Building is laid out lovely and also provides a large number of services too. the only hiccup I find nowadays is that the hours most of the time mean that I have to take an extended lunch break if I wish to deposit money into my account or if I need to get in and deal with any banking inside the branch.

Other than that though a good bank and service.

Mixing personal and business customers with only two tellers is asking for slow service. Well done Barclays, you have achieved this well. And you do this every day? Good job!

Awful service, lost my wallet and needed a card replacement. Was told upfront there was nothing they could but I could speak to a colleague. I told the colleague I'd just switch to another bank if it wasn't possible to help me. At this point they took me into an office with the first girl I spoke to who sighed and huffed through a series of questions and arranged a new card to be sent to me. Rude, unhelpful and literally don't care about their customers. Worst service I've ever received.

Very disappointing..
Called in quickly (or so I thought) to get some information..was told to expect 20-30min wait 🙄 Went upstairs and waited 45mins! They have six cubicles plus offices. Only two had PBs working!
You'd have thought with the recent closure of the barclays in Whitchurch and all the other bank closures that there may be a slight possibility of more staff!!!
But sadly no! No cashiers either! But that's not new for the city centre bank!
I have been with barclays 37yrs...now i think its time to take my accounts elsewhere at least 'Lloyd's for one have cashiers..

My wife and I recently had a suspect entry on our online bank statement. We arranged a meeting with a M/s Sharon Morgan who , in the space of some 15 minutes, solved the problem and allayed our concerns. Sharon was the epitome of professionalism and customer care and deserved our grateful thanks. Leonore & Gwyn Jones.

Just left this branch and a older grey man might have been a manager that walked around with a tablet or laptop was very rude and could not cared less about the service he was providing ! Save to say I will not be using this branch or Barclays again .
