Boots

Went in yesterday about 6pm, went to Christian Dior knowing exactly what I wanted, I could only find one assistant to help, she was working on No 7 counter. Spent about 10-15 minutes while she tried to find the key to locate products, as the drawers were locked, so I could make a purchase, she couldn't find them! And also told me most staff leave at 6pm, strange when they stay open until 8pm. I left and have now ordered online (not boots website!) No wonder shops and the high street are not doing very well

Boots Pharmacy - Castlepoint

Quite frankly the experience at Boots Pharmacy was worse than my previous experiences. Not happy with the customer service at all.

Friday 7.25pm 7th Oct 2022
Arrived at the counter and asked if they had the prescribed drugs I required, and was told yes they are in stock.

As I was stood at the counter the Pharmacist (Nigel) walked.by and advised the young lady that he was just "going upstairs for 5mins".

To my astonishment once the assistant advised the drugs were in stock, she told me that the pharmacist was in and out and I'd have to wait if I wanted it...OR I SHOULD GO TO SAINSBURYS. Knowing that the pharmacist was available having overheard his comments, I said I would happily wait....to which the young lady gave a huge sigh and "well it could take a while" !!

Whilst I stood waiting for my prescription (and the pharmasists to return) another young assistant stocking shelves called over and said (I'M BORED).

The pharmacist returned an duly dispensed my medication....Nigel was pleasant and seemed helpful.

If I'm not mistaken Boots the closing time of the store and Pharmacy is 8pm. I would understand if I'd got to the Pharmacy at 1min to 8pm.....but this was 7.25pm.

This is not the first time the customer service at Boots Pharmacy is awful !! You are losing custom.

Do like it but I waited some time to get served for some purfume. Maybe because I was in jeans and a hooded top.
When I did get served by a lady it was very good. That's why 4 stars

Excellent service including a knowledgeable staff member giving us unbiased advise on electrical hair devices, resulting in a sale and very satisfied customers.

Boots are expensive. What made my trip so good was the attitude of the member of staff who served me after a query over my bill. Excellent service.

Large store, good choice, not cheap but when you come to pay and leave expect a long queue and miserable experience battling with a handful of self-checkouts (no manned checkouts). Why so slow? Elderly people struggle with the tech. All other people struggle to pay for medicines etc because you need approval from a harassed supervisor. Plus juggle with a Boots Advantage card. Plus catch 2 or 3 paper receipts pumping out offers like £1 off if you spend £60 by next Thursday.
Get a grip Boots.

A very big Boots store with a very good range of products tho can be a bit expensive on some products. Not many staff and the checkouts are self serve with only one main till point. The main Castlepoint car park is free for up to 4 hours tho this can be extended by visiting certain shops to extend your parking time.

Assistant make up lady jane was absolutely amazing helping me choose a great foundation, eye cream and moisturiser.
