Nice Boots branch. Went there to get some make up items and I needed help to find my correct match for foundation and concealer. The staff in the store helped me with the right match for my skin in the different products. Might I also add that the staff are really nice and helpful too.

Other than the 100 year old security man following everybody he didn't like the look of, and the 10 year old perfume assistants (who were very rude to thrir even younger colleague ) who was on work experience, it was o.k, the AC wasn't on do it was hot! But it does seem run down, with older staff running around doing well...actually nothing much in particular, instead of grouping up every couple of minutes or so to talk about their much needed holiday. Pay more attention to your customers,

It's not the same now the Beauty Consultants are not on hand to recommend bew products or advise you, the service just isn't the same. Boots still have a great variety of of self service products on their shelves. Not enough shop floor staff to assist when shopping if you are in need of help.

Great service, friendly and helpful staff and good selection of fragrances which is what I always end up buying whenever I pop in to get other stuff actually on my shopping list. :-)

Boots pretty much does it all when you want healthcare and hygiene products, my visit was for the opticians found within the store all the way to the back then chuck a left.

A good range of glasses to be seen, currently a 2 for 1 offer and discounted lenses upgrades, however as a contacts wearer I order my supplies from Boots and get a special discount on glasses and lenses so got my own discount for my loyalty.

The customer service is good, polite and efficient, the opticians themselves friendly, chatty and professional. They are all busy but still under a pressured and hectic workload they find time to be human so you don't feel like you are in a factory moving along the line.

Contacts you can get delivered to your door and come every quarter. Glasses take about 2 weeks from the day you order in store to them being available in store for you to pick up. Can't get them sent direct as you need to have that final fitting which is a nice touch to make sure you walk away happy.

The rest of the store is as you expect a Boots, photo printing area, pharmacist, health and beauty products and snacks.

The best thing for me about having all these things in one place is that Boots do a really good rewards scheme. The Boots reward card is probably the only one on the highstreet that actually pays you back for shopping with them. Your points equal actual credit you can use to pay with. Some products you may need in life like shavers, razors, hair dryers, perfume, make up, glasses etc do cost a fair bit of money, so being able to turn money spent back into money gained om your card is a great way to save for those rainy days when January takes 3 years to end and moneys tight but you need those little bits of self care for the remaining weeks.

Highly recommended the Boots on Romford as I've never had any problems there, always found what I wanted and can't find many if any faults.

Variety of products available, unfortunately poor customer service, had an experience of rude and unfair behaviour especially when customer isn't british/english. I wish no criticism or disrespect to the rest of the staff just because of that one particular person(tall and mature with glasses on) who was working right by makeup section and ignored me twice while I was asking a question, and later replied in such a rude and sarcastic way. After a couple of minutes, when some "english" customers came by and asked about something, the behaviour was completely different. Of course, they were served with a smile and polite talk.
