Boots

Usually been brilliant handling my prescriptions but failed to tell me they would no longer be automatically requesting my refills from the GP and I have now been without one of my meds for a week and am about to run out of the others, despite them telling me last Friday they’d have them by Monday. Then yesterday they say they haven’t got anything for me!

The pharmacy team never answers the phone and if they do by chance pick-up, it's to hang-up straight away. This has happened to me numerous times. The lines in-store are long and take ages. It is understaffed and the staff that are behind the counter ignore you while you stand waiting at the counter. I've had to ask the pharmacist - after waiting 5 min at the counter -to put their private phone down.I still waited for them to finish on their phone before they served me. Its very worrying behavior as many people are old or waiting in line with little children. Please Boots, up your game and help your pharmacy staff out with training and more staff or something. There has to be a solution.

This branch of Boots is, quite possibly, the worst in the country. Way before the pandemic they were understaffed and you would spend an extraordinary amount of time queuing. It is even worse now. The shop is old fashioned and unclean. I also wonder why they don’t have auto-tills like the other branches I’ve been in. The pharmacists are over-worked and often there isn’t the prescription product on site. I’d sooner drive to Guildford than shop here.

A good store, however this time did not appreciate a member of staff just abandoning one queue to go and clear another queue and leaving the pharmacy team who were busy to serve 2 counters.

Apparently Boots cannot open if there is no pharmacist on site so this morning TWO HOURS after the displayed opening time it is still closed. Why you need a pharmacist present to to but shampoo, sunscreen or toothpaste is completely beyond me - a ridiculous policy

Just terrible customer service at the pharmacy. They always get my prescription wrong and will argue and say its a problem with the GP, which it never is!
They say they are under staffed but I can always see people walking around and having a lovely chat with each other. Its just ridiculous. Been trying to call them for days and no one will answer!!!

Never answer the phone and don't make up my routine repeat dispensing without being reminded - I used to get a text to say it was ready

this is some of the worst customer service I have ever received, called for days on end whenever I could to try to talk someone about my photos being developed, I never got through to anyone, Its currently week 4 of waiting for my photos and the employee that tried to help does not know anything and will not elaborate or admit to any wrong doing on their end.
