Super expensive, bad arrangement of items (you take long time to find what you need), always with super long queue, poor service and staff support. The staff is definitely not sufficient in terms of numbers of employees, training and kindness.

Good variety of products, it is a rather big boots.
Ground floor is majority make up related stuff and first floor is the boots pharmacy.

I only shopped the pharmacy side and the staff there were really helpful and friendly.

Terrible prescription collection service. They never answer the phone when you call to check and see if it's ready for collection. Then after queueing for 15-20 minutes, they'll tell you they either didn't receive the prescription request from your GP or it's not ready (even after 5 days of request being sent by GP) or some items are out of stock and you'll have to return another day. Or they can't find your prescription as someone has left it in the wrong place. Their whole system is a complete disorganised shambles.

Don't use Boots prescription collection service as you'll be left disappointed and frustrated every time.

As with all Boots outlets they are under staffed, badly run with an uninterested attitude. You just waste so much of your valuable time queueing. It's disgraceful.

On the door or states 8am open staff are rude when they eventually open the door not good enough when you need to get medication before you set off for work
Manager needs to start managing and hopefully head office rads then reviews

I often stay at a hotel nearby and the location is very handy. I was wondering over last few visits why, first there were only empty boxes for a lot of the make up and skin care products, and you had to take these to the cashier (found out this was for security - against theft) and latterly not even boxes are there.

I asked the sales assistant and she told me. Apparently because the display didn't look good, they went back to putting the actual product on display. These are regularly stolen and the staff can't do anything - not allowed to touch them. Too late by the time police arrive - and maybe they don't even bother calling them. This is such a shame. The larger branch in Kensington High St doesn't seem to have this problem - fully stocked shelves.

The Gloucester Road Stn branch is to some extent tucked away and thieves (a regular gang as far as I understood) can keep getting away with this - what is our society coming to?

The poor star rating does not reflect the shop per se - but for some products they are almost permanently out of stock because of the reasons outlined above.

Always a long wait for pre-ordered prescriptions. In fact long queues for everything. Staff disinterested, or rude, all a bit out of their depth. Untidy and needs a good clean. Such a convenient location right by the tube, but otherwise miserable.

Very convenient place just near Waitrose supermarket...not so much choice with a unfriendly staff unfortunately!!!!
