awful place. Staff don’t give a …. They don’t talk to you, they instruct you. So miserable. Prescription collection is a joke. 1 hour lunch time for pharmacist and always late back. Waltz’s back in, like he can’t b bothered. Always a queue for prescriptions. Hate it!

I hardly ever go to this store, having lived here for 25 years I only go if I have to. As normal, uninterested staff. I am at the "pharmacy counter" where 3 staff are behind talking. I asked where the covid tests were. "We haven't got any" was the blunt answer. The woman seemed annoyed that she had been asked. There was no mention of when any stock may arrive. I asked if I could pay for my goods at the counter as I couldn't see anybody on the shop floor. "No, you will have to go down to the till". This was at the far end of the shop. She then went back to her very important conversation. I then had to go down to the end of the shop and find a member of staff to serve me. One of the shops I dread having to go in. I normally will travel to the Street branch where the staff are far more helpful

Honestly, as I said to the manager of Boots Pharmacy next to Tesco in Shepton Mallet, "I'm really pleased I've moved out of the area because I never need to come in for medicine again!"
It's a pity Boots have aggressively bought out all other pharmacies in the area, because they really are quite rubbish at it.

Seldom do I leave a review, but the staff member I spoke to was so reluctant to help. It was a simple task of helping me confirm if they had an item in store and I was met with the most dreary tone and general lack of bother. I understand if you dislike your job - but doing it the right way the first time may in fact make things easier on you.

Seriously keep getting ripped off.
Spend 19 pounds on 2 nail polishes when i got home looked at the receipt they charged me for 4. This is not the first time it has happened had to go back before as been over charged on facecreams. The staff just make me feel like off putting like i can not go back in. Will not be going back.

Boots Castle Cary seems to really be struggling. Don't go there if you need something done quickly... you will queue guaranteed. Staff seem to be struggling but that may still lose customers.

I have just phoned to inform the relevant team that my mother has passed away so they no longer need to make up her packs of medicines each month. The girl didn’t seem bothered , didn’t ask me to spell mums name ( it’s an unusual name ) and didn’t even bother to express her condolences. I have had no end of problems concerning my mums meds over the years and even my hubby said how rude they were when he went to collect for her.
I think you must have to be rude and nonchalant to work here
And it’s not recent over the years I have noticed how rude nearly everyone who works here is.
Still I won’t need to go there again !!

I hate giving a bad review, but I'm not impressed of the service there.
I went in to get some vitamins, the lady who was serving the till by the door was busy with another customer, so she told me to go to the other till, because there is no one there. I went there to pay and the women, looking at my small item said - what you doing here, why don't you go to the other till. I explained her colleague is busy and send me here. She said - offff that's OK then. Then I asked if I can book my family flu jabs, because the system doesn't work. She said - no, keep trying and if you still can't call the customer care services. Absolutely she was trying to kick me out of her way and it was literally not more then 5 people in the place, no waiting people, no pressure at all. So.. I will only go there if really necessary, not feeling welcome at all.

The reason I don't give 1 star, but two is a girl working there, who was happy to try to help my during another visit. Absolutely disappointed.
