Heathergate Bed & Breakfast

Lovely place with a really tasty breakfast. I had a wonderful welcome and got plenty of help with looking for somewhere to eat in the evening.
Parking was fine. I was glad that I had checked up on the directions beforehand but it was actually very convenient for the A3 and quite easy to find.
Being in the attic room was good and 'bad': great because I had the attic area to myself - with the bathroom being a good size I felt like I had a suite rather than just a small room! 'Bad' because the attic walls/roof sloped quite severely and I am quite tall. I could only stand up straight in the very centre of the room!
If/when I need a room on Dartmoor again I have no hesitation of booking at Heathergate again. It was a wonderful derful start to my holiday 😀😎😀

What a wonderfully friendly and welcoming lady Angela is. We had a superbly peaceful stay. Lovely room, with a fabulous new bathroom. I loved seeing cattle out of the bedroom window! Lovely breakfast. Angela is a brilliant host. Highly recommended thank you.

I stayed in very comfortable, clean and spacious double room with a great en-suite bathroom. The owner, Angela, was very friendly and welcoming and made an superb breakfast. The location was amazing with fantastic views of the countryside around Dartmoor. I would thoroughly recommend staying here.

My teenage son and I enjoyed a wonderful stay at Angela's beautiful home. Angela was very friendly and hospitable and flexible with our arrival and departure times. The breakfast was lovely. My son said it tasted 'lovely and natural'. The bedroom was spacious and immaculately clean, as was the bathroom. My son and i both loved the spacious and comfortable bath after 10 Tors challenge weekend! The beds were very comfortable and views were so tranquil. The garden which you could walk around and sit in was also a wonderful bonus. We both had a very relaxing nights sleep, as did our dog who seemed totally at home during our stay. Highly recommended. It was a lovely place. The host was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was superb, all anyone could possibly want. The room was fine with an exceptionally large bathroom and shower and very clean. It was very convenient
for Dartmoir itself with plenty of bars and restaurants nearby.

The hostess Angela is a no nonsense amusing lady. She quickly makes you feel at home. Breakfast and the room were excellent.

We had a very enjoyable stay at Heatherside. Angela was lovely, the room was nice and the breakfast very good. We would definitely stay again. Gary and Cheryl

What a great nights sleep and to wake up to amazing views. One of the best breakfasts I’ve had in years. Angela was very helpful, will definitely stay again when I’m next down this way
