Have been a visiting guest here for just over 3 years. I previously used a local travelodge- which whilst was very cean and tidy, seemed to lack in personality.
So googled b&b's in Guildford area and found Rumbeams. I now travel from Nottingham to Surrey every month to see clients and Rumbeams is my first and only choice for a 2 - 4 night stay.
Joanna is an exceptional host and cooks an amazing breakfast. She also goes out of her way to help. Rooms are clean and comfortable and everything is dog friendly at no extra cost. Free WiFi is an added bonus.
There is ample car parking and the garden is relaxing - with free range chickens and a goose who seems to act as Mother Superior! (All in a large pen). Free range eggs are available and delicious.
There is also Bosworth, the goat in his own enclosure who will give you a warm welcome when he knows you.
It is not hard to describe Runbeams other than a home from home and it helps to make my monthly and taxing business visit so much easier.
Whether on business or leisure, I would recommend a stay here. Great for children also.

On a working trip, this is ideal. Sat out in rose garden with my coffee.. visited the chickens and goat... very welcoming and relaxed
