Stayed in the stables suite. Nothing was too much trouble for the hotel owners. Location fantastic, although we drove past three times before we found it! It's on a great bus route right into Harrogate, Leeds or Ripon. Breakfast menu was great and we both really enjoyed our food - eggs Benedict for myself and a full Yorkshire breakfast for my husband. Fresh smoothies and freshly squeezed orange juice with tea and coffee. We wouldn't hesitate to rebook.

We stayed here for a 4 night break and enthusiastically recommend it. It’s conveniently located for Harrogate and the attractions of Yorkshire and set in a tranquil and secluded property with a gorgeous garden. The house and accommodation were full of character, stylish, clean and modern with period charm. Our breakfasts were perfect - quality ingredients cooked to the highest standard. The hosts are professional, friendly and very helpful. It’s pretty much the ideal English country B&B. Thanks so much for a memorable stay!

Good location, great room, superb breakfast. Totally comfortable. Enjoyed watching the bunnies and squirrel whilst having breakfast. Janet is a good host.

We stayed in The Stables which is self-contained accommodation that includes a kitchen, lounge, bathroom and bedroom. The rooms are spotless and very comfortable, having been tastefully furnished. The bedroom opens out onto its own small patio area that is secluded and a sun trap! The accommodation is truly 'luxury' in every sense and it is so quiet. Visitors have use of the gardens where there is a nice deck area next to a small pond where you can just sit and ponder. The views of the surrounding areas are terrific. This is the ideal spot to relax. Paul and Janet are great hosts and make you feel very welcome; the breakfast in the morning is superb especially in good weather if you can sit outside. A very enjoyable experience in all regards and it is recommended without reservation.

Gorgeous place to stay. Sadly we were only here for one night. It wasn’t long enough!

Janet was very welcoming and cooked a fantastic breakfast (which was delivered to you in the morning). We stayed in the stables, which have a separate living space, bathroom and kitchen. It was the best choice for us… we enjoyed having more space to move around.

The bed was big, comfy, and, most importantly, fresh and clean (as was everything).

The brownies left for us on arrival were lovely, as were the fresh flowers and homemade shortcake biscuits in the kitchen (naughty but very nice).

Loved the glass milk and water bottles instead of plastic and the environmentally friendly products in the bathroom.

The decor and furnishings are beautiful, especially the sliding doors.

The rainforest shower was a treat, and the underfloor heating was nice, as it’s getting a bit colder now we’re at the end of November.

A perfect place to unwind and relax after a busy day.
The area is really quiet and peaceful.

We would return again and again. I bet it’s even more gorgeous in the summertime.

Have just returned from a 3 night stay . Was a beautiful property in a stunning rural setting, less than 10 mins. by car (or taxi) from the centre of Harrogate. The friendly owners really looked after us and made sure we had memorable and relaxing stay. Breakfasts were excellent. Would return without hesitation if stopping or passing through the area again in the future.
