Really friendly staff, 1 minute walk to rocky beach and all shops, 10 minute walk to fair ground, rooms are clean, breakfast not included! some have on suit's others share a bathroom! OK for a few nights stay! Would stay again! Cheap enough!

Absolutely fab service. Emma (manager?) was brilliant from start to finish and although we never met she welcomed me warmly and trusted me to be a nice guest (which I hope I was). The room was small, yes. But for a single bed and a small desk and a nice TV it was more than adequate. The ensuite loo was fab as well and most importantly everything worked!!! Also it was lovely and quiet and even other guests arriving / moving around wasnt a problem. I have a naughty and nice list of places to stay and this on is definitely on my nice list, I would happily recommend the service and the room. Can't say anything about breakfast though as I didn't have any but if my other experience was owt to to by youll be fine.

We were told it was quirky and you'd better believe it, on the plus side it was very clean with a welcoming bottle of wine, chocolates on the bed, the linen and towels were all fresh and parking this time of the year was not a big problem. You couldn't get better positioning for the town and sea but now the negatives, it is on the 3rd floor, not a fact they tried to hide but there was no fire escape, the bathroom radiator was leaking and the toilet paper left under it prior to our arrival was soaking wet and had spilt on to the floor.
I had not noticed there was no lounge or place to relax other than the bedroom, where the metal springs were coming through the mattress or the kitchen and we might just have been unlucky but the flat below had their washing machine on from before 9am to after 9pm each of the 4 days we stopped there, I can't imagine anyone having that much washing and when on spin it shook the kitchen floor and the wine in the glass.
So it depends on what you are looking for, but personally 4 days in this quirky flat was enough for me

I stayed for two nights over the jubilee weekend, by myself and absolutely loved staying here. The service was fantastic, had a phone number to call anytime if I needed anything. The room was lovely and clean and had a nice comfy bed. Has it's own bathroom. It was really good for the price. Even though it was a B&B I was aloud to come and go as I pleased which was great. Free WiFi in my room. And only a couple minutes walk from the sea. Lots of Bars, Pubs, Cafés and shops within a few minutes walk too. It's a no smoking B&B but there is places to go and smoke if you wish. The shower was excellent. And the bathroom was nice and clean too. Would recommend this B&B, it was lovely staying there.

I only rang on Saturday morning to see if a double room was available for that night... The lady was really welcoming and and told us where a nice chippy was.
Our room was clean and comfortable... I would definitely recommend Mary house and stay again.

Lovely host providing comfy beds and hot shower in the rooms. All need refurbishing but then the prices would have to increase and it is currently such great value! Perfect for a good value location outside Cardiff and a beach holiday.

It was cheap and right by the beach. Friendly and welcoming to everyone. I found another bathroom that has a bath. The single bed was small. It was clean but the sink tap was broken. Quiet, Cosy. I think the stripey carpets are pretty camp lol but I don't mind! Had a lush night away.

Stayed at the Mary House for 2 night over the weekend lovely B&B, minutes walk to seafront, shops, bars and restaurants. Room was nice and cosy bed was clean and comfortable. Clean towels both day's, tea and coffee facilities in the room and plenty off tea coffee and milk if needed 😃.
Manage and staff of the B&B was very pleasant and welcoming, look forward to staying here next time we in pathcawl.
