Shaws Exeter

Brilliant. The best one-stop shop in Exeter for bedding, towels, curtains, bathrugs, pillows, duvets, curtain poles, hooks, wool .... basically, everything for the bedroom, bathroom and living spaces. An excellent range of products all at fantastic prices. Not surprisingly, Shaws has become the "go to" store for Students, but has something for everyone. The store is bright, well laid out and the prices are very reasonable, with a really good range of colours and sizes - and the quality is great.

Very helpful and charming staff who go out of their way to assist and advise the customer. Highly recommended.

Wow, what an amazing shop. Clothing including underwear, bedding, curtains, towels and more. Unbelievably low prices for good quality stuff. The staff were so helpful and full of smiles. I'll be back for sure, 👍😀

I often pop into our branch in Newton Abbot, but when my daughter was home we went to Exeter as she wanted to look for wool and I thought they may have some. I was amazed with the selection they have in the Shaws Exeter branch. My daughter was thrilled and bought crochet patterns and various wools. A week later she phoned me to get more of a particular one for further projects so I returned ready to stock up. Alas they had none left neither had Newton. The Exeter ladies were fantastic though and managed to locate just what we needed from another store and rang me when it came in. Daughter was happy, I was happy and my partner bought herself a beginners crochet kit and a set of hooks as she was so happy. Full marks for your great service ladies. We will be back to pour through your very reasonably priced patterns and wonderful wool selection again soon. I would wholeheartedly recommend Shaws. Great service, fab prices. Thank you

I really like this place, it has quite a good selection.

The only negative is that sometimes they put sales baskets in front of the tills, making it difficult for customers, especially mobility aid users to reach the tills.

Looks like they are either having a refurb or closing down.
Most of the shelves are empty and everything thing else seems to be at least half price.
Worth a visit if you are or know a knitter as there is lots of wool still available at the moment at reduced prices.

The pleasant staff are always helpful. The goods, ladies underwear and wools, are very competitively priced. Both wash and wear well. It is a pleasure to shop there .
