Friendly and attentive staff without being pushy, perfect level of service

Originally this was a 5 star review, and that was based on the service level provided by the store colleagues who were fantastic....unfortunately the product, delivery and customer care is appalling.

- delivery 3 hours late with no phone call or apology
- bed damaged on arrival so now waiting for replacement
- customer care REFUSED to log complaint until replacement received (but happy to take payment!!)
- as well as the damage to the bed frame, build quality is poor with staples and nails sticking through the frame and exposed?

Don’t buy from this company, I wish I had read reviews before I ordered, waited 5 weeks for delivery only to be told on the day of delivery that the bed wasn’t being delivered and they couldn’t tell me when it was going to be. The manager of the shop didn’t know either and admitted it wouldn’t be anytime soon, in the meantime we were sleeping on a mattress on the floor.
Luckily I got a full refund, reading some reviews others have not been so lucky. I ordered from The Bed Centre in a Tamworth and they delivered the bed we wanted within 4 days! Great service from them, I recommend you go there first and avoid Bensons Beds

The bed was great and delivered on time.
The bed came unbuilt - so you have to arrange a person to build it for you.
This just lets the customer service down.

To actually sell me what I want meaning an upholstery bed frame which appears you have it on your website in all sizes but when I asked for it in the store,they told me that it is discontinued and advise me not to buy from online because I might have a nasty surprize.

Waited 4.5 months for a bed . I actually bought 2 beds one for me and one for my son so I managed to get a £429 managers discount in with the deal . When I was told they couldn’t supply one of the beds which was the most expensive one , they told me that I couldn’t get any discount on the deal and would have to pay more than originally quoted . I waited in for the beds 3 times my sons was finally delivered the 3rd time and was told after waiting so long for my one that they could not supply it , And by the way because we can not supply the main bed on your order so the one you have got you will not get any discount on it . Please don’t buy anything from this company they have terrible service and customers care .

Disgusted with the service from Tamworth store and customer services.
Ordered wardrobes, which arrived several months late to find that the size (originally checked in store, as only had so much space to play with, also confirmed on invoice) was now 6cm wider than was led to believe.
Asked to confirm size by store, which was and then advised me "oh we round down the measurements ".
I requested a refund as the wardrobes are never going to fit, to be advised by salesman after speaking to customer services that we have to now buildup said wardrobes, prove they don't fit, then once proven take back down and arrange collection. If any accidental damaged occurs while dismantling we would be liable, and therefore not get a refund !!!!!
At the moment the wardrobes are in the original packaging and ready for resale once returned.
Common sense is obviously not high on the agenda here 😡
