Squarebike

The guy seemed pretty chilled. He was paranoid that I was taking pictures for this review Lool but I can understand as it Peckham. He fitted 2 new foldable pedals to. My folding bike for £20 - not bad I guess. Took him around 10 mins after his smoke break. He explained that the fix and repair shop opens 9-6 but the bicycle park it self opens 5am till Midnight. Lots of security in here to protect your bike if you do decide to leave it. The repair shop sells most of your everyday cycle essentials too. They take contactless payments. Think I'll be coming here to get my bike sorted from now on.

I would not reccomend this bike repair shop. When I collected the bike the man told me proudly that he did 20 bike services that previous day and this is what it really looked like. One of the brakes was much looser than the other and also the tuning of the gears is not very good. I asked for a rack to be fitted. For some reason he did not use the supplied parts for attachement and he also did not return them to me. Will not use again.

The Squarebike team are excellent bike mechanics at good prices. I’m a regular there and I have used them for bike service, bike repair and to ready my bike for competition. I tried Seabass when I moved to the area but was very disappointed (they were expensive and my bike squeaked after a service). So I was very happy to find Lazlo and team. As a bonus they are lovely to deal with.

Excellent! I had problems with my Sturney-Archer gear hub - I was quoted all sorts elsewhere and told it was likely to be an involved/expensive repair. Not with Squarebike - this was a very tidy job - no fuss - and a very good price. Top marks.

This is a cheap but professional bike shop, the boss helped me change the tire inners of road bikes in just 15 minutes, and helped me check the brakes! Thanks a lot for his help!

Fantastic service when I needed an emergency repair. Very quick and efficient, he communicated with me well and it was very reasonably priced.

Really efficient and good service. Very useful as well right next to the station. He can normally do repairs or services within a day or two if needed as well. The cost is also reasonable, slightly cheaper than a few other places around. Will be using him again.

Amazing guys and reliable service

I’ve been going to Squarebike for a few years to service my road bike and Brompton. Laszlo and Eugene (hope I got his name right!) are trustworthy and amazing guys who have offered consistently good service and helpful advice. I’ve been to other well-known bike shops on the high street before but have always returned to them because they’re always patient and meticulous. Often they’d go the extra mile to help clean the chain and frame after doing the fixes though they’re not obliged to do so. Highly recommended. It turns out that they’re also authorised by Brompton to fix foldable bikes and I must say they’re good at that!
