Ramsbottom Cycles

Carl came to the rescue when I dropped in with a whole series of mechanical issues on our bikes when we were going end to end. His expertise was first rate, and he got us back on the road with no fuss or bother. If Google allowed ten stars then Ramsbottom Cycles would definitely get it! Thank you for everything!

Had a bike fit done earlier this year.
I found Carl very knowledgeable and not pushy at all, clearly passionate about his trade. Bike feels incredible now!!
He suggested upgrading to tubeless tyres which he did for me. Again it’s made such a huge difference.

I brought my gravel bike in due to a seized through axle bolt. It was a tricky job. Carl never seemed negative about it, nor did he cast doom and gloom on me. I brought the same bike back for a different issue a couple of weeks later (mis-selection of gears). The adjustment was done to perfection, despite Carl advising me that my chain was worn. Carl is an excellent mechanic with great experience. He has an excellent attitude and mannerism to his customers. I recommend him highly for bike maintenance.

Karl has been very helpful, while juggling family commitments as they await a new baby. Impressed by the Volt bikes.

I don’t usually moan but was really let down by this lack of service. Left my bike for a frame service as it had play in the rear end be lucky if half of the rear end was even checked as the pivot sleeve had never been removed to check these bearings that turned out to be completely seized and obviously in need of replacing had to go over all the work again as most things where either loose or unchecked,

Great professional bike service. Would recommend, noticed there were some issues with my bike and fixed them there and then for me. Fantastic.

Helpful service but a bit slow. Obviously busy due to so many people getting on their bikes during lockdown.
