Life on a bike cycle store

Excellent service.My advice is before you walk in anywhere else go to this shop he is absolutely amazing and honest!This is what happened to me: My handlebar was lose I took it in this shop. Elsewhere they said it's a manufacturers fault because the stem is too small I need to change it which would have cost me so much time trying to chase the manufacturer down etc and at least £30. I walked in with my bike to Life on a bike and he was amazing I told him what was going on.He took one look at my bike and said 'that is the right fitting' got his magic tool out and tightened it up. He was very polite he hasn't said anything bad

What a fantastic shop. In these days of chain stores it is refreshing to find an independent bicycle seller of this high standard. The quality of the bikes are second to none and the owner was so helpful. I was quite a fussy customer on a time limit as I had the school run to do and he was kind and patient, getting my bike ready for me very quickly without making me feel as though I was being a nuisance. (Which I undoubtedly was!) I absolutely love my beautiful new bike and would thoroughly recommend this wonderful shop.

Excellent service. Responded to emails quickly. Did a really excellent job on my old bike. Was transparent throughout with the cost of materials and labour (which ended up being very reasonable). My bike now runs like a new bike. Highly recommend.

Fast, Knowledgeable, explained properly what to do next and Accurate bill of materials given. some of the items are slightly pricier but value for money and better service than chain stores. Keep up the good work.

Wonderful independent little bike shop. Jeff is very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. He is open about the prices and different quality of components. And I really appreciated that he answered all my questions and showed different options without pushing you to buy something. Very happy with my new bike.

Got my bike for a general service check. My bike runs now smoother than ever before, truly feels like a new bike! Gear switching effortlessly and honestly it feels like flying not cycling. Jef is knowledgeable and polite and everything is reasonably priced. I don't see me going anywhere else. Thank you!

Jef's incredibly helpful. The stellar help he offered even after I mentioned I wasn't sure I'd buy anything that day showed me that he genuinely cares about the interests of everyone who visits his shop. He thoroughly answered all my questions, and I had many because I hadn't bought a bike for a long time. I actually went back later that day to get a bike lock, and I'll be going back again to get other bike accessories.

I took my bike in for a service on a friend's recommendation, and am very happy. Thorough job, and a fast turnaround despite needing a spare part to be ordered in. I'll certainly be returning when I next need anything fixed.
