I strongly recommend Chelmer Cycles after the excellent service they provided in helping me put together a complete road bike package. The staff were honest, helpful and extremely knowledgeable in the products they were selling and were able to tailor me a package to meet my exact requirements. The shop mechanics gave me a full fitting of the bike and carefully ran me through how to pack it down into a travel case and reassemble.
Since I live outside the EU; Chelmer Cycles gave me an invoice and helped me complete some forms so that I could reclaim the VAT when flying out the country. The VAT had even been repaid to me within a day of leaving the country!
It was refreshing to get such a good service from a local shop; I'll definitely be returning.

Had a huge problem finding a headset for my transition tr450 DH bike, went to many other bike shops and no one could help me fix this issue, left my bike with them from Monday and was ready by Wednesday, asked for a silver service as well. So very pleased with the customer service, kept me updated with everything that they wanted to do, 100% would recommend to anyone to visit here, there more than happy to help you out, top notch boys, will be back soon, major thanks to Joel and the team for the repairs to my bike

My cable snapped in the brifter and wanted a service too Pete was very helpful. He communicated throughout and helped me with my options - I went with a new gear set as it was 11 years old and the bike is looking and running awesome. He will re-tune after all parts settled.

Recently had some work done on my Boardman road bike. Pete has made a really good job of replacing the gear cables and adjusting the front and rear derailleurs. They actually feel like a different set of gears. Highly recommended !!!!

Recently sent my Specialized Roubaix in for a service and repair work. Despite being very busy everything was turned around in great time, and finished to a very high standard. Price was extremely reasonable and Nick even took the time to amend seat/handlebar/break position on pickup to enhance the ride. 100% recommend.

I know very little about bikes and had a Cannondale 2008 bad boy with a fatty ultra headshok that was very soft. I thought it needed servicing and could not find anyone to help. Came across Chelmer cycles and thought I would give him a call. Extremely knowledgeable and helpful over the phone. Diagnosed the problem and told me how to solve the problem myself and now it rides like brand new!
