They have done an excellent job of repairs to my Norco search road bike. . Have done a 50 mile ride on it this morning and it rode as sweet as a nut. The changes have improved riding uphill on the big front cog and all gear changes were completely smooth. Great job 😄👍. Marc Osborne

Recommended. Got my mountain bike back from overseas. It had been stored and transported badly - damaged parts needed replacing plus needed full service. Looked over in the shop, agreed on parts to replace. Told me they would give me a call in a couple of days when done. Next morning - received call to say 'bike's ready'. Picked it up - spot on - INCLUDING one of the parts to be replaced '....didn't need replacing as it was just the wire inside'. Trusted.

Professional, with a clear passion for the sport. Went in hoping for an affordable bike to get me back into cycling suitable for a medium distance commute. They took the time to listen and show me a variety of bikes suitable to my needs, with no pressure to buy or any attempts to 'over-sell' outside of my budget. Great experience, and well worth the visit. Looking forward to getting back into the saddle :)

Fantastic local bike shop, I recently bought a gravel bike from Northfield cycles. The team are extremely knowledgeable and always have time to look after you. A million times better service than Evans, Halfords etc.

Wow great knowledge and great customer service only went in to ask questions about bikes and came out the shop with a new electric bike thanks guys. 😊

Great service! Both Richard and Simon are very friendly knowledgeable guys. Took my bike in for its first service and accessory fitting, all done a dusted in no time. Highly recommended.

These guys really need to PDI their bikes before letting them out the shop.I bought a Scott Aspect from them & was told it was ready to go, I took it out on a small ride & the gears were incorrectly set,I can expect cable adjustment after 20-30 miles..but 5 miles into a first ride??
Used the bike again,This time heard a clicking from the front & rear hubs. So I took the wheels off & found the axle nuts were too tight on the bearings.I slackened them off & the bike was fine.But if this was left to anyone who hadn't no idea about bike maintenance, This could've turned into an expensive repair.
It seems like they just get the bikes out the box & straighten the handlebars & put the pedals on...And its good to to go!!! Wasn't even offered an apology for the scratch or any discount off the price as a goodwill gesture.
One member of the staff needs a refresher in customer service.

I am a very experienced cyclist and have used Northfield Cycles for over 20 years, buying 4 bikes from them. This is the best cycle shop in the Midlands, Rich and Simon know their stuff and always go out of their way to help and get me back on the road. Their pricing is spot on, cheaper than many other shops I am aware of. All my cycle friends, of which there are many, use Northfield Cycles and are extremely happy with their professionalism, advice, knowledge and friendly service.
I thoroughly recommend them and will use no other shop.
