Very surprised about the ratings for this place - I have now been twice and both times felt like I was being ripped off. The first time much more so but I was then careful when coming back.
Make sure you question them in price as it is an uncomfortable experience when you feel you’re not getting value for money then your bike breaks anyway.

I got charged £120 for new tyres and a new brake. My bike brand new is £170!!

I’ve seen the materials online and they have charged £12-15 over market price for each tyre. I advise you buy the materials online and bring them with you.

Agree before hand also on the labor costs

When I questioned the price, they started to check all the bike in front of me as if they were doing a full service to the bike in 2 mins. Proper dodgy!

Had an emergency cable break today and found the shop online. I didn't expect to get it done today, especially so close before closing time. Amazing service and great prices! I'll come back!

Went in today really nice young man helping me work out what’s wrong with my bike, then the older man comes out says it’s £40 per hour plus parts I said that was to much and he sarcastically said ohh bye then have a nice day and walked off with pure arrogance, went to butternut bikes instead. Shame about the old guy as the young man was really helpful.

Straight up the best bike shop I've visited in London. So approachable and helpful, good services and good prices!

Went in for a full service and to change my brakes to hydraulic brakes, was charges £100. I have a fat tire e-bike with standard parts except for the freewheel. First point, absolutely none of the full service was done, the chain wasn't changed, derailleur wasn't tuned, the wheels weren't trued and apart from a bit of grease on the stem, I found no lube anywhere else on the bike. The brake change was even worse as the "old" tecktro brakes which had at most 1000miles on them where "thrown away". These are e-bike specific brakes which can fetch a good price on the second hand market, so I doubt the were thrown out. The hyraulic brakes where left feeling squishy and underperfoming. Finally it seems my bike was dropped as the shifter suffered some damage. AVOID this place, they are dishonest and like to "throw away" compnents.

Got my bike fixed by a young man on the 2nd December. Very knowledgeable, explained what he was doing, and good value for money. Will be coming back.

Great service and quick turnover for simple issues. Lots of one star reviews on here, but what I will say is that the prices for each fault are on the front door and always discuss what you need done in advance, no confusion or awkwardness afterwards that way.

Great local bike repair store for anyone north of Finsbury Park and happy to support local too!
