Langdale Lightweights

Having just collected my bike from Langdale Lightweights I can only say what a pleasure it was to experience such a professional service . They stripped my bike and put a stunning ultegra di2 group set on and a new set of wheels. There knowledge and customer care is second to none and Daniel and Matt were excellent . The build is first class and nothing was too much trouble for the guys. I certainly will be using them for anything bike related in the future and would strongly recommend them to anyone else. Fantastic job guys thank you

Can't recommend enough. Had a bike fit and altered my original bike and ordered my new Orbea Avant M20i. Collected recently and love it. Now enjoying 2 well fitted bikes. Awesome service from Matt and Mick.

Not suitable for the average leisure rider. I took my bike in for a safety check-over ready for summer asking them in particular to check the disc brakes as they were noisy and juddered. Although they were friendly enough they charged me £40+ and left so many items unchecked, the brakes were exactly the same, the headset was loose, cables ends were missing and who knows what else they hadn't bothered to check. I don't rate Halfords but to be honest even they couldn't have done a worse job! May be fine for pro riders but definitely not recommended for the average-Joe leisure rider.

Going in and wanting something I’d seen online, we discussed the merits of my decision and they gave me other options too, of which I chose to go with.

I am so glad I did, as now I have the best bike I’ll ever own! (And a new winter bike on the way too).

I also had a bike fit, which was in depth was a welcome edition. I’d had one only a year earlier with another shop and Mick determined my seat was at least 3cm too high! He was right!!! It’s made my riding so much better and more comfortable to boot.

Yes, you may get bargains at certain times through the big players, but often it never quite works out.

Everything I purchase for cycling is now bought through the shop as I get the insight and advice at the same time...helmets, shoes, tyres etc...why run the risk of shopping for expensive purchases online, when you can go and discuss your thoughts and ideals with knowledgeable people who will quantify your thoughts and help you secure the items at the best prices going.

I feel really lucky that Langdale is my local bike shop. It’s not just the great kit they sell but the experience - Brilliant service, great advice, very knowledgeable and always willing to help.

Great local bike shop! Popped in this morning as I was having difficulty getting my tyre back on my wheel rim. It was sorted in minutes rights away. Always have a great experience with the team , very knowledgeable, friendly and great service.
