Lovely bike shop with personal attention. Martyn Green has a deep knowledge of all types of bikes including custom choppers which are restored to expert standard. My modern hybrid bike which I purchased with his recommendation has been fantastic and has helped me to return to cycling. Highly recommended.

Interesting experience. Looks to have lots of interesting old bikes there, but not exactly helpful from a repairs point of view. Out on an afternoon ride, had two punctures on rear. Walked the bike a long way to get there, walked into an empty shop, guy was reading the paper. Before I had even finished asking, was told that he couldn't do anything now. Actually just thought "sod it, not going to get anywhere with this guy" and walked out. Was in there about 45 seconds. Shame this is what is left of the Youngs name.

Not sure if shop wants to exist. Walked there with mechanical issue on my ride, waited 30 minutes for them to open, and they never showed up. If you aren't open, put a sign up and don't waste peoples time. Fortunately found much nicer helpful people around the corner.

Had a Raleigh Chopper Sprint restored by this cycle shop and it took 3 to 4 months to paint this very small bike. Had to ring and text him but would never return calls and texts right away, very frustrating as a customer. He said that he had problems with his car which is not my fault. Anyway gave him the benefit of the doubt and sent another Raleigh chopper down to him and that also has taken the three months to do. The Grand Total of this job cost £542.00 inc all of my chrome being done plus fitting of parts but because of lockdown he said he couldn’t do all the chrome but where we live all companies were open??? Strange! So because he couldn’t do the chrome the total came to £532.00??? The chrome parts which had to be rechrimed was around £200.00 there abouts. When I was getting slightly frustrated with this he was absolutely rude to me has a customer, swearing etc. Everyone be careful of this company . All the best with them if you use them
