Alex the owner is a great cycle mechanic. He will do any cycle repairs, not just electric bikes. He did a complete build for me on my road bike and I couldn’t be happier. Very reasonable rates and top communication every step of the way. He even sourced a new stem at a comparable price to buying online with next day delivery to the shop. With that kind of service I need not bother buying online in future. So if you’re a roadie or MTB fan, give him a go. We need a good mechanic in Newcastle and I can highly recommend him.

Me and my husband went in e-lectric avenue last month as we are interested in purchasing. We hadn't a clue about the bikes so we popped in. After speaking to Alex who was fantastic with us, told us all we need to know about the bikes and which is better and what they do. We are now the proud owners of two new KTM. It was a stroke of luck to find Alex here in Newcastle E-lectric Avenue. I have been thinking about buying an electric bike for several years but really did not know what I was looking for (there was loads of technical opinions on the internet). Alex helped me with my choices and allowed me to road test the bikes that I wanted. On reflection - had I not found this place I was going to make a wrong choice about an electric bike that I had considered to buy from a large sports store!

Alex is a knowledgeable and helpful guy who pointed me in the right direction. The products that he has are budget to high-end stuff and he did not try to sell me anything that was over budget. In fact the first question he asked me was what my budget was and what I needed to use it for. Essentially I went for a mid spec bike for both commuting and for leisure. He also gave me a reasonably good discount and advised me on the care of my bike so that it is in a tip top shape. Also he advised me on how to activate my guarantees and get my self registered.

I would recommend the store and will be getting my bike serviced there regularly.

Took my Haibike with brake problems to see Alex.
He described in detail what he suspected was wrong and the remedy.
He was bang on, picked her up today and the brakes are way better than before, bearing in mind this bike is only 6 weeks old so Alex did a outstanding job.
He also set up the suspension and didn't charge me.
At last i have found a bike shop that i can trust and totally recommend to anyone looking for 5☆ service.

I new nothing really about ebikes. Looked around and went around other shops. Then went and spoke to Alex. Yep as in all th reviews it says he knows his stuff and he truly does. He helped me threw my decision process and i ended up buying a belter. It as changed my cycling adventures immeasurably. There isn't any were i carnt go, see and enjoy. Thank you Alex. In my opinion your th best.

Oh... Not had a service yet (its 2 years old in October) as its perfect but when it does ill take it to him, no problem...

had been taking my bike in for servicing, Alex really knew his stuff and gave out great advice on what service work should be done on the bike. All work completed on the bike was fast and up to an extremely high standard at a great price.

Was that impressed I recently brought a mountain bike from the shop, again amazing service gave plenty of time to set up the bike to be suited to myself weight, reach, style of riding etc.

Alex was always more than happy to help with any questions I had, highly recommend this shop to anyone!

Bought a ktm Emtb there were multiple problems shipping it to N.Ireland. Alex never gave up and I got the bike despite lots of red tape(thanks Brexit). Very happy with the bike, thanks Barry
