Fantastic experience today buying a bike for my 5 year old son, the assistant was helpful, knowledgeable and suggested alternatives. Did not feel pressured at all to make a purchase but extremely happy we did. Will definitely go back for the next one.

Absolute gem of a shop. Cheapest around for repairs and parts. Had trouble fitting new tyres onto carbon wheels and they were more than happy to help. Didn't charge me either. Won't go anywhere else now for services and repairs. Very friendly staff and very knowledgeable

Traded my lovely, trusty sportive bike in against one more appropriate for my advancing years. Two nice guys in there, very helpful. Took my friend's bike in for a service too. Very helpful, will recommend and will be back if I need anything. Thanks chaps.

Took my very cheap bike in, was told that the cost of maintenance wasn't worth it as it'd be about 1/3 of the price of getting a new bike - very much appreciate how honest and upfront that is.
I went for the maintenance anyway, and my bike felt better than it did brand new.

Found Jay extremely knowledgeable and helpful in the purchase of my bike and he was very happy to make adjustments to suit me there and then. Many thanks will definitely be using again.

Contacted Town Bikes today as just bought a second hand Mountain bike and it needed a new hose for the front brake. After searching and trying to make contact with some other shops Town Bikes were the only one who came back to me within 5 minutes. They managed to take my bike in on the same day and on visiting the shop and speaking with Jay who was very helpful and knowledgeable agreed to get more work done to bring the bike up to spec. Very pleased with service I received as got the bike back within an hour!
Will definitely be going back next time I need something doing and am happy to recommend them to anyone else looking for a good service on their bike.

My husband took my Pendleton electric bike in because my brakes weren't up to scratch. Owner took the bike in and did an all over on the bike; wheels, cleaned it, and the brakes. All for a great price, cheaper than I expected, and also faster (directly before xmas too!). Happier to help a family owned business than a franchise. Will come back again definitely. Thank you

Brilliant and reliable service. They have done lots of work on my road bike getting it ready for an event at the end of the month. Really professional, very reasonable rates and a quick turnaround. Wouldn't take any of my bikes anywhere else. 10/10
