Northside Bikes

An excellent bike service and repair shop. I've now used their service on 3 different bikes, and other family members on 2 bikes. In each and every case the bike has been measurably better after the friendly treatment from Chris, Amy, or Jon. Good advice freely given, they also organise rides and are just starting to add new bike sales to go with their used bikes. A proper local bike shop.

Bit of a random review as I haven't purchased anything or had a service, but from the 10 mins conversation I had today, I would say these genuinely seem to be good people. Very helpful and their products seem to be fairly priced. Forget the corporate groups, use local, I know I will when I need my next service.

Had my bike serviced here today. Absolutely brilliant. Really friendly staff, reasonable price, serviced with care - and my bike feels like new! Highly recommend this place.

Brilliant location just off the inner ring road, right near the centre of town. The most friendly and helpful owner and staff imaginable, they recommend honestly and charge very reasonable rates, as well as offering schemes to help riders learn to maintain and repair their own bicycles. There's a selective range of quality products, also at great prices. Northside are keen contributors to the cause of helping the less fortunate, as well as being equally enthusiastic about encouraging healthy and environmentally conscientious practices, so they also have a system whereby old bicycles can be donated, offering tempting discounts on some new bicycles for those who want to trade in their old ones. What a brilliant organisation, we could do with more places like this. Tricky to express how thoroughly this place deserves the highest recommendation!

Good repairs for a reasonable price! Owner is friendly and good at explaining what needs to be done. Would come again if ever I'm in need of any bike related services

Northside Bikes, Thank you so much for hosting the Bike Maintenance Workshop. It was really informative, helpful and hands on. You guys really gift the catch a fish vs feed the fish mentality. I'm definitely a Northside Bike supporter!
