Wife took her bike back to them with a dodgy back wheel a few years after she had first purchased it, they not replaced the wheel & the original quoted price but they also replaced her worn brake & gear cables & brake blocks & generally gave a service for no extra charge. Brilliant service so glad we decided to buy from a small independent retailer rather than Halfords.

Nick's a great guy and has always served me well for my cycling needs. I use a bike every day of the year as my only form of transport so safety and reliability are critical, and I trust Nick totally to keep my bike running smoothly and safely. Support your local bike shop!

Phoned up to organise a health check on my new bike, something I thought was pretty standard and uncontroversial. I would have been more than willing to pay the quoted price for this, however the person who answered my call had no customer service skills and clearly was angry the bike has been purchased online rather than in his shop. Would not recommend.

Found the guy who dealt with me very rude,
I have a couple broken spokes on my ebike, he said they dont do technical bikes, i said it was just a couple spokes on my ebike, he said nop, a new wheel is needed, i said its just 2 spokes, he said thats what you get for buying these ebikes online!
Clearly has a issue with Ebikes, wont ever use them again!

Great service, repaired the bike in minutes and reasonably priced.

Absolutely Fantastic! I dealt with James who was really nice & helpful and totally honest with me about what to repair and what didn’t just yet.
He gave me a couple of options to choose from and It was refreshing to have a shop not try and upsell for the sake of it and just be straight with me. They replaced my entire rear brake system within a couple of hours, something that I had been told would be extremely difficult by another bike shop, but Lawsons just seemed to get on with the job and get it done! I would definitely recommend them to anyone who needs a bike repair and simply wants an honest person to repair what needs doing.
Will definitely use them again!!

Unfortunately my gear cable broke a couple of miles just outside Christchurch last Saturday,I managed to get the bike back to Lawson's cycles where the guys fixed and replaced the cable straight away, what made it more amazing is that the cable had to be internally routed through the frame etc . The bike was ready in just over an hour and I was able rejoin my mates who had ridden down to Sandbanks . The whole repair only cost £37 which I thought was really good value . Thanks again guys .

Nick was brilliant today. Disaster strikes in Christchurch……big blow out can’t get tyre on due to how tight tyre was on Dura Ace rims but fixed in no time after quick call and no charge. Give these shops a chance!! Awesome!!
