i just bought my new road bike and needed some help with it. it is my first review so u can imagine how helpful he was if i took my time to rate it. very highly recommended.

Excellent service. Mike is a lovely chap and great to deal with. Dropped my bike off for a service and a new tyre at 10am and he text me to say it was ready at 3pm same day. £25 for a service - very pleased. Love keeping it local when you get this kind of workmanship

Really nice guy, told me everything about my bike and what needed repairs. Very honest about everything so you know he's someone you can trust.

Saw the 5 star reviews online so booked my bike in for services and some repairs. Was told I would get a quote the following Tuesdays for the work to confirm that i was happy before he carried out the work, this did not happen. I chased twice to be told a week later that the work was done and told the price which was higher than I had expected. was given a list of what hat be replaced so felt a little happier. I picked my bike up and dropped another bike off explaining chain was jumping and that wanted a quote to replace the chain set, If it was needed. The bike I picked up had new parts but had not been set up that well and it did not seem to be running as well as I would expect after a sevice. I had to chase up the quote again for the bike I had dropped off and two weeks later was told it was fixed and that l could pick the bike up by a text. I picked the bike up to be told he had fixed it the best he could. I took out for test and it had the same problem which had not been fixed. I then asked if he had carried out the service I had requested on the first bike, to which he said no at which point we parted company.
Hes a nice chap and obviously very busy at the moment and im sure knows his stuff. I try to support local small businesses but In my experience the communication when it came to him doing what he said he would do and what l asked him to do on two occasions has been very bad. I just wanted to raise this point as I chose to use him based on the reviews.

Ive now got spend the time and money to pay someone else to service my bike and fix the other one.

This is my first time using P H Ultra Sport, I noticed it close to where I live so when my bike broke I took it over. For a brilliant price my bike was fixed to as good as new from completely unusable. The chap who works there is fab, very helpful and quick at what he does, he contacted me after 1 day to say it was fixed and on collection I realised he has done small jobs I didn't even request such as inflating the tires. Would definitely recommend!
