I asked them to do a horrible job no-one else was interested in doing - making some special short spokes for a 1967 Raleigh Wisp.... 15 of them. They did it in 24 hours, I've fitted them and my beloved Moped is back on the road. Thanks guys. Appreciate it!

I've dealt with these guys 3 times so far and each time has been great. First I bought a bike from a third party they were a dealer for, the bike was there on time and free to collect almost immediately after. They had checked out the bike to make sure all was fine and as it was an e-bike walked me through the specifics of the model when I arrived to collect.

The second time was getting the inner tube switched out on said e-bike. The time I was told it was take was already a short period and when they managed to finish it early they let me know so I didn't have to wait any longer than it took them. They even straightened a bent brake lever for me despite not being asked to, which was appreciated.

The third time I was looking for a new bike with some specific features and they helped me out with finding a suitable bike that they were a dealer for (presenting several options though not pressuring me into taking any of them). After doing so they kept me well updated with what was happening in regards to the bike being delivered to them and being ready for me to collect. They also presented several payment options and explained what each would require. When the bike arrived and I tried to set up finance they were really helpful, even staying a good 10+ minutes after closing as the finance people were taking a while to confirm or deny my application and they wanted to save me coming back the next day.

Overall all my experiences have been positive and have no complaints to give. Amie was great on the communication front in emails, and though I didn't get their names both of the guys I met there across my visits were really helpful and friendly.

If I need anything else, I'll definitely be coming back to the place. Highly recommend.

I Saw the good reviews so thought I'd take my bike in there....so took it in...however the bike was given back to me in a worse state than when it went in....I emailed and they had the bike back and sorted...but apon return the bike technician was rude obnoxious saying there was nothing wrong it it...however you could clearly see it wasn't right. Either way after some arguments the guy took it round the back a fixed the problem. . So overall was just happy it was done.....BUT...... two days of the new bearings being in I've got the same problem it went in for ...so best off taking your bikes else where

Absolutely fantastic bike shop, welcoming to all. The staff know their stuff inside out and there's no pressure to buy. Although the shop is a small footprint, it's packed full of things to see. Service and repairs on site; brilliant.

Recently purchased a bike through my works ‘Cycle to work’ scheme. Such a welcoming and friendly service, being new to the cycling world I did not know what bike to purchase, they went through the bikes with me explaining which would be best for cycling on the roads and down tracks/woods with the kids. I would highly recommend Mandarin cycles to my friends and colleagues. Thank you and happy cycling.

Just bought an e-bike on the bike to work scheme. I sort of knew what bike I wanted but it was great to be able to do test rides. Efficient and friendly service and I didn’t feel I was getting a ‘hard sell’. Great team. Thank you

Went here as my brake shoes were worn out completely and were making alot of screeching noise. They replaced it within 10mins and for a reasonable price! Excellent service and will definitely go here again if I have any other issues with my bike

After much research into electric bikes online, a Volt Kensington was at the top of my list. I found Mandarin Cycles is a local dealer for Volt and was able to go and have test ride. There was no hard sell, just good sound advice from Sean & Scott. I was able to collect the bike all set up - I wouldn’t have managed that if I’d bought it online! And I’ve just been back for my three month service. I thoroughly recommend Mandarin Cycles.
