What a fantastic bike park. Great parking at just £5 plus £2 per extra person. Overflow car park up the fire road is alway easy to park in. The trails are well marked out and extremely well kept. Nice coffee shop at the end for some lunch. Good bike wash at £1 and plenty of tools available to fix any thing that has failed on the route. Trail maintenance has now been completed on the last red and the run down to the cafe is great. Awesome work OPA

Been a few times now, The bike trails are amazing, I think raspberry ripple is probably my favourite part so far. The whole place is just beautiful, the views are stunning and the trails are loads of fun and a brilliant way to get exercise and there is a nice sense of community here too, everyone is chatty and friendly.

But my only moan is with the food at the café.

After you have spent 3 hours on a trail you want some good grub! But unfortunately the quality of the food doesn't meet the price. I ordered a stake burger and chips, which was about £10 ish I think. So I was expecting something really nice. I was hungry!! You know when you're starving after a big work out and you could eat a whole cow! That hungry.. But the burger was shockingly bad. Just seemed really cheap and mushy rather than it being a meaty burger. The bread wasn't toasted so it was just like chewing thick bread with a mushy burger inside. Salad was a single spinach leaf. No onions, tomato's or something exciting that would have given it texture and flavour.
Wasn't any cheese on the burger either. The chips weren't cooked. Most of them still hard in the middle. and it wasn't busy so there was no reason to rush them.Menu said food would be served with coleslaw but I didn't get any, I just wanted some flavour 🤣 So we will go again for the trails but will probably be quick get out so we can find somewhere else to eat.

The staff are super friendly and kind, everyone is helpful. It's genuinely a really nice place to go. Sorry I had to moan about the food!

Brilliant trail centre that caters for all. Been coming for about 8 years and never disappoints. From blue to reds and blacks all trails are well maintained. Hub is very good too for refreshments or to get supplies from the bike shop.

My son and husband had a good ride today, we are really glad we came. But I'd heard the cafe was really good, so had been looking forward to visiting with my youngest son while the others rode. I had an Oat Latte, which pretty good. But the lack of clear vegan options was disappointing. One Planet suggests the owners might have some awareness of the affect that eating meat has on the environment.. But the menu is standard with sausages and beef burgers. There was a veggie burger, and veggie salad, but the salad ingredients had run out.

Excellent bike park. Car park is £5 quid which can be paid either with card or cash. Staff are super helpful and friendly.
I'd advise to take plenty of water whilst riding the red and black trails as they take you a considerable distance away from the trail centre.
The trails themselves are well maintained and take you around some stunning views. Additionally, they are graded slightly different from other centres; if you can manage red usually then you'll want to jump on the black ones.
Would recommend.

£5 Entry fee which includes parking. The trail is really well managed, clearly marked at every junction and I didn't see any litter or anything throughout my whole 5 hour ride.

The toilet facilities are clean.

There are tools and pressure washers to make sure your bike is safe before and after the trail.

The food is really affordable and very tasty. I had the steak burger which was lovely and cost roughly £13 with a can of pop.

Used to come here years ago with my mates when i was growing up. I brought my little boy here today he's 7 and he absolutely loved the 2 laps of the green route that he done.....he can't wait to get his practice in and get on the blue route!
The price to park is brilliant £5 all day.....you can literally make the day as cheap as you want. We took a picnic and stopped next to the reservoir to eat it.....when we got to the finish we rewarded our hard work with a cake and hot drink....again price was great and the food was lovely! We will be back!

OPA is always worth a visit. Because of injuries I can't ride my bike but I'm up at Llandegla once or twice a week walking for enjoyment and exercise.
Gotta love the visitor centre for the big log cabin vibe, the excellent coffee and the extensive menu.
