Lovely boat ride the river . Our guide was very knowledgeable about Cambridge, not just all the sites you can see along the river, which was great to listen to. I think we got lucky with our guide.

Decided to do a last minute punting tour and I am so glad I did it. Our punter Will was fun, engaging, funny and knowledgeable. He made the tour interesting yet relaxing at the same time. The 45-min, 2-mile journey is expensive BUT it is a must-do to see the beauty of Cambridge University. Well worth the money!

The tour was very exciting and interesting to learn about the history of Cambridge. Our guide, Joe was very knowledgeable and nice making side remarks along the way. If you are touring England the punting at Cambridge is a must!

We went out on the last tour of the day and booked online which was very straight forward. Our guide was brilliant, really knowledgeable and friendly. Even though it got dark, it was still a lovely tour. Our guide gave us lots of history about the colleges and Cambridge in general.

Our punter Joe was a great source of information, very friendly and provided a very smooth journey up and down the river. Would definitely recommend to anyone who wishes to see the historic colleges without the leg work.

We thoroughly enjoyed our punt along the River Cam that Noah led us on! His dry humor and comedic style of telling us about the history of Cambridge had us smiling the entire 45 minute ride.
Mai, the punting vendor, was generous enough to offer us a very reasonable rate for the 4 of us in a shared punt (£50 for all four of us). I definitely recommend walking along the edge of the river where vendors are and negotiating a price with them - DON’T pay the £100 if you’re sharing with another group.
One thing I do wish was that Noah focused a bit more on telling us more about the history of the university itself and not just the structures.
All in all, a very positive experience- punting in Cambridge is a MUST!

Be sure to book ahead and arrive on time. They are definitely the best value for money!
TIP: If arriving at Cambridge station, the punting is about 20-30 mins away! So make sure to plan your booking with sufficient time after your train arrival!
