Enjoyed a nice 50 min harbour tour, £10 for an adult. We saw quite a few military ships, both active and out of service - also the brand new aircraft carrier was there and being worked on.
The captain was good at giving information. There is seating outside upstairs and inside downstairs so this is a good all.weather activity.
You can leave a stroller/pram safely at the dock area.

Really nice boat getting you to Alcatraz. There is café, restrooms and plenty of seats. They also produce green energy so you can charge your phone on the boat (although journey is only 15 mins).

Captain gave plenty of interesting facts, snacks and drinks available during boat tour. £26 for a family ticket. Leaves every hour.

Had a great time with my husband touring around the Portsmouth harbor. It was smooth sailing and educational. Tour guide was very well spoken and was good in describing/explaining the history and functions of the buildings and vessels seen on tour. Offered a great view of the historical docks as well as the Spinnaker Tower and the Gunwharf Quays business centre.

I've been on this twice in September 2009 and August 2021 it was nice to be back I finally got to see one of our massive aircraft carriers at close quarters HMS Prince of Wales and this particular aircraft carrier I first saw a sketch of it in a book that I got in 2007 called warships today so it was just amazing to see the real thing there was also the Argos which is a royal Fleet Auxiliary I've read about that so many times there was also two beautiful Type 45 destroyers and we also got to see grain being unloaded from a coastal freighter into DK transport's DAF XF 106 but the highlight for me was seeing the three historic vessels one which is an air sea rescue launch a very famous that was half designed by T E Lawrence two aircraft tender mainly used for the short Sunderland's and the s23 Empire flying boats and then a motor torpedo boat and as we was at the dock we saw a very small British landing craft from the war that was coming to dock that was a very nice surprise I also got some stunning shots of HMS Warrior
