Kiss XX Bridal Wear

Went with my daughter to visit this shop, she had an appointment to try on some wedding dresses. We were made to feel very welcome the minute we walked through the door. Lost count of how many dresses my daughter tried on, but nothing was too much trouble for the mother and daughter who own the shop, they were brilliant! Thank you ladies.

Wedding dress ordered in plenty of time (5 months).
Unfortunately it took the seamstress a number of attempts to make an alteration. Wedding dress was only actually ready 2 days before wedding. Fortunately for the shop, I am a very laid back person and dealt very well with this but others really need to be aware.

Sadly our experience of this mother and daughter business was not a happy one. We are both still astounded at the tongue lashing the mother vented on my daughter a day before her wedding. There was absolutely no need for it and the only explanation given was that it was down to family problems. Completely unprofessional and upsetting. Wish we had gone to Elsie May shop. The owner was a joy to be around. Kiss will forever be a very unhappy memory for us.

I originally went with my daughter over 2 years ago & she chose her dress & bridesmaid dresses but due to covid her wedding date was changed 3 times & finally happened last week. Jo & Lilla were both brilliant everytime we visited. The alterations were also brilliantly done & Lilla kindly came & put Bec in her dress on the wedding day. I can certainly reccomend KISS thank you.

I cannot thank Jo and her Mum at Kiss XX enough. They were so amazing at helping me find my dress, didn’t pressurise me at all and allowed me time to think and come back for the dress. Once my dress was ordered, they went above and beyond to help organise alterations and even opened up especially to let me pick up my dress the day after New Year’s Day for the day before my wedding. I cannot begin to tell you how many compliments I received on my dress and it is that timeless, I am planning on putting it away for future generations. Please please please do not hesitate to come here when looking for your wedding dress.

This shop is absolutely fantastic, you can feel the ambience as you approach it, the owners are mother and daughter who are very pleasant and professional. Their customer service is 2nd to none and nothing is too much trouble for them. They offer impartial advice and you are not pressured in anyway. Their prices are very competitive and I feel it was one of the best shopping experiences I have ever had (by the way I am a 66 year old Male buying a prom dress for my daughter). I would have no reservations recommending Kiss XX, to anyone.

Excellent customer service provided by nice people. There was no hard sell. A nice atmosphere to pick a dress. They couldn't have done anything more. Highly recommend.
