I had my amazing dress from cariad bridal. Unlike most brides dress shopping was at the bottom of my list, I was worried I’d look
Awful in everything and was really anxious about trying on dresses that probably wouldn’t be in my size.
I had been to a few other stores before I went to cariad bridal, as soon as I walked through the door I felt at ease, there was many dresses in my size that I was able to try on, and to my amazement I actually loved every single one.I went into to the shop looking for a plain no fuss dress and came out with a big puffy sparkly number 🙈 I was able to alter my dress slightly which was amazing.
I also had my veil from the shop at one of their accessory events.
All staff members are warm and friendly I would recommend the shop to anyone

I am so glad I found Cariad Bridal. They were able to cater for all shapes, sizes and needs. The buying process was explained thoroughly with no hidden costs. Vanessa was extremely knowledgeable and even pulled out dressed for me to try on that I probably wouldn't have chosen myself. My dress was stunning. It was sparkly and dreamy. We had absolutely boiling weather on the date we got married (26th march) and although I was warm - the dress didn't make me feel overly hot. Everyone complimented my dress and many said they had not seen a dress like mine before!
The seamstress was also absolutely fantastic. I could not recommend this shop enough !!!!

Having found out I was pregnant with only 5 months to find a dress I started to panic it was never going to happen. Then I came across Vanessa and Sue at Cariad. From the moment we got there we were made to feel comfortable, welcome and part of their family. They make everything a personal experience and give you honest, professional advice. Due to being pregnant my size always changed throughout the pregnancy, Sue is the amazing seamstress that took her time, numerous fitting arrangements and measurements right up to 2 days before the wedding to ensure that my dress was perfect!
These ladies went above and beyond any bridal shop that I have been too and ensured that everything was perfect for the big day. I can not thankyou for enough for making this a stress free journey for a pregnant bride. 100% recommend to anyone looking for an amazing dress with that personal touch from a local, well run, outstanding business.

Vanessa and the team at Cariad Bridal were so helpful from start to finish! There was such a wide ranging selection of dresses and I was able to try on as many as I liked! Vanessa also kindly provided suggestions as to what would work for my shape and so after trying the dress on, I knew it was the one for me. I needed some alterations too and these appointments were always so relaxed and lovely and I was really made to feel at ease with any changes that were needed. Thanks so much again for your support in the run up to the big day and for the beautiful dress which had so many compliments on the special day, thank you !!

I couldn't have asked for more! Vanessa was no nonsense which I needed as I'd been to other shops and not found anything I loved.
It is clear she knows her stuff and has a good eye. Sue was brilliant and made alterations flawlessly. It honestly couldn't have been more perfect.
I had a very short engagement (6 months) so was advised to choose 'off the peg' and I wouldn't have changed a single thing. I felt so comfortable and the dress fitted perfectly! I was able to easily get fitting appointments for the evenings after work and every time I visited it felt really personal and intimate.

I cannot recommend Cariad Bridal and the amazing Women there enough!
I gave them quite the task as I didn't exactly have much time between dress shopping and my wedding day (4 months!).
The full 'I said yes to the dress' experience was magical.
Nothing was too much trouble for Vanessa on the day or trying on all the dresses!
I felt every inch the princess from start to finish.
The service doesn't stop there! Every fitting was lovely and felt at ease! Picking up my dress ready for the big day was such an exciting experience!
I collected my dress after the washing and boxing and it is absolutely immaculate!
Cannot recommend Cariad Bridal enough!

Vanessa and her team were absolutely amazing from start to finish! Vanessa clearly has an eye for gowns as she pulled dresses for me to try that I insisted it wasn’t what I wanted but fell in love with one of her choices!
I felt beautiful in the dress all day, was altered perfectly for me. My husbands reaction to it was priceless!
