SugarBeat Eating House

Just want to thank Stevie and all the staff at the sugar beat! We had our wedding reception here on Saturday and they couldn’t of been any more attentive! We opted for the outside bbq and it was absolutely amazing! All our guest where commenting on how nice the food was and how kind and polite the staff was! I would 100% recommend have any party/event here as they are so attentive. Thank you so much again guys…. Caroline and Johnathan x x x

Service was very efficient and friendly, lovely looking place. However it was very noisy, couldn't work out why as not overfull but think it might have been the low ceiling? One of our party had steak which he said was delicious, another had tuna sandwich with chips which was substantial, I had the halloumi fries which were disappointing, quite hard and dry. Overall quite good, I should have complained about my food really as they would have probably given me a replacement meal.

Great atmosphere. Great quality food . Staff friendly and understood allergies and this gave us re assurance

Met with friends at the SugarBeat on Saturday evening, it's a nice, clean venue with friendly staff and while the food was good, I found the portions small in respect to the menu prices. Fully appreciate the, pandemic, cost of living and energy crisis have effected everyone but my main course (chilli tofu noodles) was more like a starter and to be honest I was still hungry despite having the cauliflower chilli bang bang to start with. Again tasty but disappointing portion wise...
My partner had the plant burger but at £14.95 you'd have expected a bit more on the plate perhaps a bit of salad, onions rings as opposed to a burger and small bucket of fries....like me she had a starter opting for the deep fried brie but as above quantity was poor.

The food was tasty and well cooked but unfortunately the portions (in my honest opinion) weren't enough for the price.

I often have breakfast here with friends and have never been let down on my choice. Great choice of food and coffee. Brilliant atmosphere and very clean. Lauren who is usually on duty when I am there is a credit to the company. Very friendly, smart and attentive. She seems to do every job there is going from cleaning the tables to looking after the guests. Excellent all round service.

The food was delicious and the puddings are indulgent there was 3 of us and we could of shared the mint choc cheesecake!!
Only 4 stars as I need/want to try more off the menu!!
Staff great we were allowed to sit in the restaurant for a good amount of time and did not feel pressured to leave! Definitely coming back!

Very friendly and hospitable staff. Very clean restaurant.
The people who I was with all enjoyed their meals and the portion sizes were all good. I had the beef chilli. Again portion size was good but the chilli itself was disappointing. It was served over a large portion of French fries rather then rice and was lacking. No kidney beans and it was really just pieces of mince with cut up pieces of chilli mixed in with some mustard sauce spread over the top which seemed strange. Not what I was expecting and didn't particularly enjoy it

Been here about 4 times in the last month or so now 😂 food is lovely however I would personally say just a little overpriced. But always enjoyed what food we have had. However one massive thing is the staff are always super friendly and welcoming which you don't always get these days! We will be back soon no doubt 😁

Update - just been for the Sunday roast and it was lovely!! Would highly recommend as usual!

Update #2 - had our Xmas eve meal here tonight. Food was amazing as always and the service was faultless. Staff are always so friendly and happy here. Couldn't recommend you guys enough!
