Always full shelves plenty of room to navigate inside. The prices are very reasonable for this type of store. Staff where friendly and quick at the checkouts

Liam helped us so much with our campervan build! He went above and beyond to advise us and help us choose the best materials. Wickes is very lucky to have such a hard working person

Do not shop at this store! Bought 6 OSB loft panels a few days ago. Wasn’t given a receipt and started to walk out. After realising i wasn’t given a receipt I walked back into the store to be told it was to late to give receipts as the order had been processed and they had served other customers.

Darren told me it didn’t matter if I didn’t have a receipt as long as I had a bank receipt of which I had. I showed them this when I returned back to the store 2 days later for a refund after not needing the items. I was then told by the store manager Damien (who I have to say was incredibly rude) that it was my fault not to get a receipt even though I had tried and was told I didn’t need one. Yes I should have gone with my gut and insisted I got a receipt but we’re talking seconds after the transaction was made I asked for one. Darren also shouldn’t of said I didn’t need a receipt in order to get a refund.

I’m escalating this now with wickes due to the extremely poor service.

Never answer the phone - Tried calling to cancel an appointment, call rang and rang for over 4 minutes, I was then told by a recorded message, that there was no one to answer my call and goodbye. I won’t be calling
again and therefore will not turn up for the appointment.

Went in for weedkiller, 25 showing in stock .Not one could be found, this often happens here 🤷‍♂️
Just went in for some kitchen door hinges, loads showing in stock, after 15 minutes of searching i asked where they are? They haven't got any but are due in some time so they add them to their stock list as being in!!!
Such a useless store.

Absolutely disgraceful treatment by a certain member of staff who accused me of being a thief and embarrassingly ejected me from the shop. Legal action will be following.

I asked a member of staff if he could help me in selecting the right size of screws and wallplugs for a heavy mirror, never having done this myself. He said he could show me where they were though I was standing in front of them (!) but didn't know anything about these and thetefore couldn't offer any help. Upon further questioning of another member of staff I was informed that nobody there could offer any assistance as they had no knowledge of using these products due to them being "retail not trade" ! I'd have thought that tradesmen wouldn't need much assistance but the general public might so seems the wrong way round to me, however it was good luck that a customer who was a local builder stepped in to show me what I required for the job. Thank you so much to him! Amazing that the employees working at this branch of Wickes had not received any training in what customers require to carry out basic DIY jobs.

We recently bought a display bathroom from Wickes at Sevenoaks. When we went to collect it, the units were still bolted together. One of the floor staff, Ollie, very kindly sorted this out, gave us some wrapping and helped us onto the trolley. We were really impressed by his excellent customer service. Overall the service received by bathroom staff in general and by Ollie in particular, was excellent. Thank yiu Wickes Sevenoaks!
